I wasn't expecting the book to be as engaging! There's over 3 hours of reading about factual historical events that will make you giggle uncontrollably. It covers human history of the most bizarre stories. Very entertaining book. Worth the read.

Remarkable facts and stories which made this a really interesting read.Hard to believe that these things did take place but obviously they did!

Bought for a present so not sure if as good as it seems. Just an extra gift to add to others

Bought this for father's day. His chuckles from the "other" room are very telling. I may have to steal it back so I can read it too!

It could and did happen to a friend when i told him to read the book and consider some of the stories personal.

Note to the author.Mr Douglas:I enjoyed your book immensely and give you credit for uncovering small but very strange twists of history that leave us wondering ...what were they thinking?.I have one request however. Knowing your proclivity for humour this may be difficult for you to obtain but in the future .....please.... I beg of you!! Stop with the stupid puns at the end of each story! They actually diminished the enjoyment ( at least for me) of the book. One or two, alright, I get that, but not every one!Otherwise ...very entertaining and eye opening.

I realize this man spent a lot of time and worked hard to make this an interesting book. And, maybe it is the different humor enjoyed by the two countries, but I just cannot recommend it for the American audience.

I had to keep checking that these stories are ACTUALLY TRUE!!! AMAZING!!!! NUTTY people!!!!!
