Great quality for a Refurbished/Renewed Console
I will update if this changes on anyway.Got to be honest, I thought for a moment I was getting a brand new never before used console. Packaging was great, all smelled new and it was neat and flawless. The only way to know you have a Refurbished/Renewed console is by reading about it on the box on a corner with not so big letters that says "Refurbished"Device is accompanied by a new controller and both HDMI and Power Cord (which all seemed new).At my house my kids and I have been using it for an average of 6 hours daily and so far it is working great. I am now considering getting a fan to maintain device temperature even lower (and extend life).Just in case, get the assurion extended warranty, as I did. You never know how will time affect the refurbished unit and, at around $49 for 3 years of worry free use? No brainer.(PS. it just has 90day warranty out of the box. Prime Day deal had this unit at 369+tax. There are some other Used "Like New" Xbox's from Amazon that brings a whole year warranty.)

The Xbox has never worked. Under warranty, but not replacing a defective item.
I ordered this XBox July 17, 2024, for my son's birthday. It arrived and he downloaded his games. The Xbox will start loading a game, but it never launches the game so you can actually play it. The item was under warranty with Microsoft. We started the repair process with Microsoft. It is now February 20, 2025, and we have yet to get an Xbox that works. We have returned the item for service four times. Each time they return it with a checklist saying it is fixed. Each time it has the same issue. They claim they have sent a new Xbox twice, but we don't have proof of different serial numbers. We now take a photo of the serial number each time we send it in for repairs so we can determine if it is the same box or not. The last time my husband spoke to Microsoft, they said they would just replace it. Again, they sent the same box back. It is extremely frustrating and each time you call or email, you have to start the whole story over again. They give us "case" numbers, but they keep closing them or "escalating" the case and getting a new number. Meanwhile, we have paid for a product that has never worked and our son is just using his old Xbox which works fine, but doesn't play some newer games he has. Very disappointing and a huge waste of our time.

Just get it already.
It works but it seems like the HDMI port is loose so my Xbox cuts in and out lucky I opened it and fixed it, but other than that it works perfectly now.

A Bittersweet Upgrade, But Still a Solid Console
Upgrading to the Xbox Series X was a mixed experience for me. Part of me really misses my old Xbox One—it had been with me for years, and I was used to how everything worked. It’s a little sad not being able to continue using it the way I used to, especially since it felt so familiar. That said, the Series X is a strong replacement. The performance jump is undeniable—games load faster, look better, and run smoother. It’s a powerful machine, no question. One downside that still bugs me is the recording limitation. I was hoping I’d be able to capture longer gameplay sessions, but it’s still pretty restricted, just like before. It feels like a missed opportunity for such a high-end console.Overall, even with a few quirks and that nostalgia for the Xbox One, the Series X has proven itself to be a worthy successor. Just wish it gave a little more freedom with recordings.

No complaints
Works as it should. I waited a couple months to make sure. Everything went great and it works well. No problems

Works but...
It works but the package could've been better and the warranty seals were broken. They didn't say a thing about it on the product's description
