How does 32 PSI appear on a scale of 15?

it doesn't, this one is for running low pressure in atvs or offroad vehicles, you'll need one with higher max pressure for your street vehicle.you can choose the 60psi scale from the drop down before adding it to the cart if that's what you need.

if you accidentally exceed the 15 psi rating will it destroy the gauges accuracy? if i had maybe 20 psi in the tire when i used the guage?

I think the 15 psi rating may be misleading. It goes up to 60 psi. I’ve used it on motorcycle tires that hold up to 40 psi for years without issue.
