It does what I intended it to do, which is to apply a small layer of water to the floor, scrub, and wipe up. Is this an absorbent mop? Not at all. If you plan on pouring a bucket of water down and hope this thing sucks it all up, you'll be very disappointed. If I have a wet mess I tend to clean up an area with paper towels first then use a mop to wash over the area. Assembly took less than a minute and was super easy, did not even look at the instructions. If you're mopping almost every day, the sponge head will wear out, also if you're using it against anything that may cut it up such as tile, you'll have to replace them sooner. I do love that it came with an extra sponge. The build is fantastic, great quality, the sturdiest sponge-style mop I've ever used, and I've used many for home and business. I do wish the squeezing mechanism was a bit higher on the mop so I didn't have to bend down as far, but besides that, it's really easy to pull and I haven't had any issues with it. Definitely a good buy.

This mop must have been made by an engineer. When you squeeze it, the water comes out and it’s almost dry and that is not what you find with other mops. I went to several stores and hardware stores trying to get a good map and I could not find one except this one on Amazon. it’s easy to use and in fact, I bought two of them to make sure.

I was taking a chance buying this since there were no reviews. I am very pleasantly surprised. The mop arrived in pieces, assembly was simple and I used it for the first time today. It’s a really nice sponge mop and I love that an extra sponge was included. I don’t expect to have to use the second one for a while as the sponge itself is very good quality and a nice size. The pole part was three separate parts that screwed into place which I like so while I’m mopping the parts won’t pop out like other mops have. The roller wringing part to squeeze out excess water works fantastic. I can’t say one bad thing about this mop. I expect this mop to last a long time. If you’re looking for a good mop I highly recommend this one! The price isn’t bad either.

I bought this when I discovered that the replacement heads for my old mop were no longer available. Very pleased with the performance of this mop. Does a good job of cleaning dirty floors and squeezes the head almost dry. Good value!

This is the worst mop ever!!! I thought having a foot of mop would be great and for 3 jobs it worked fine. The 4th job today it broke. It broke because the mop it only held in by a piece if plastic. The Quicke mop I had for years is not wide but so much stronger. The sponge part is held firmly by screws. Don’t buy this mop.

Works ok, the sponge itself is wide as expected but skinny in diameter so it doesn’t carry as much water. Just wish it were fatter. I’d still buy it again because I was looking for a wider sponge mop. Quikie made a good one but no longer available

Great Mop! Easy to use and large sponge mop head. They include an extra mop head too. East to squeeze and rinse. Great value and happy with this purchase.

Best ever only thing would change is put rubber rollers to ring out better but it does well and put something on each side so when going along baseboards it doesn’t make any marks that would separate this from all other brands. Really good I have 10 pets and luxury vinyl with deep grooves it gets the dirt out of the groves very happy with this sponge mop.

This mop was far sturdier and better than I was expecting. It was exactly what I needed, and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it.

I've used HDX, Libman and Vileda sponge mops and none of them work as well as this Eyliden Sponge Mop. It has a wide head and easy to operate the squeezer mechanism which removes most of the water from the sponge. No more soaking wet floors when done! It also comes with a 2nd Sponge Head which I was not expecting :) The price was very good, and I've recommended this product to my family and friends.
