Poor engineering
Bought the twn4 and loved them. Clear and loud! But, had to upgrade a amp for more power and got the twn5 to handle more power. Then I made them 3way speakers and adjusted the twn5 db level to the wooofers and used the lower power rate twn4 to only get more of the ultimate clear highest frequency level that this model puts out. But, if you look at the pic you'll see they soldered the L-shape connector inwords on the twn4 with the plastic backing supporting the soldered connection on the diaphragm, securing them from wire tension and connecting when using blade connectors. The twn5 connectors have nothing for stability by them cutting out the plastic backing all together. Terminal detached at the soldered point when I attempted to connect them. Why would they not go with the same design? Disappointed in them dropping the ball! For that price, you'd think they'd make it as good as the smaller tweeter of that same model! So I made up for their imperfections and put some high temp clear caulk in the well created by their cutout of plastic. I strongly suggest you do the same before connecting terminal. With no support it's very likely they'll detach from the diaphragm pc board that they solder the terminals to. I'll have to cut out the caulk, if I ever have to change out the $20 diaphragm they offer a replacement for. But, well worth the extra labor if it ever gets to that point!

They will blow out within 1 week
They are great to have if you ain’t trying to play music loud loud and the sound is great but unfortunately I had playing to break it in and then like weeks later after I played them loud loud and they blow out..my amp is only pushing like 80w-100w RMS to them. I don’t understand why they blew out when the max is 140w-160w RMS.

Extremely LOUD! Using a clarion eq to get them to sound smooth otherwise are super ear piercing!! They're great!

Clarity is the key
these tweeters r more midrange than tweeter. They give great voice detail, so I added a ds18 pro-TWX6, just 1 an u would not believe the clarity. I*m very satisfied
