The Great Gatsby (Deluxe Hardbound Edition)

Love the cover details of the book! I am disappointed, though, because upon receiving it, I fully expected the book to be slightly bigger and thicker, as shown in the product image, especially given the prices listed by the sellers. It was also slightly disappointing because when I looked at the pages, it had a pretty gold look on the edge of the pages, but, there was a white spot empty, it's not damaged or opened at all from the plastic when I received it, it's still sealed, and I saw it when I received my package. Another thing I'd like to point out is that when I opened and removed the plastic from the book and read through the pages, the pages are really thin and you can see words from the other pages, it's see though. Overall, the story itself from the book is nice to read and have as a collector's item, but the size and pages are not at all what I expected. If I were to buy this without the discounted price, it wouldn't be worth it at all, considering the pages are very thin and the book is smaller and slightly thinner than what the product image suggests.

Ugh I'm gonna be so honest, I mostly bought this because pretty (as I already knew the book before) but the pages feel so good and THE DESIGN!!!! Ugh in love!!

Wonderfully written book, what can you say about a 100 year old classic. I watched the 2013 movie adaptation after I finished the book, that was well done.
