Wagner FLEXiO 590 Airless Sprayer

Best sprayer I’ve ever used.

If you know what you’re doing and you take your time and prep properly it’s a great machine!

not knowing they made upgrades

I bought this several years ago and didn’t use it back then cuz I thought the clean up wasn’t worry the time of using it for that project. The cleaning after using it this time wasn’t too bad. It comes with a template to practice your spraying I didn’t use the template but it showed me how wide I would expect the spray to cover. I was painting the outside of a house that had horizontal siding. It took me 2 Days to cover the area that I did and this was only about 60% of the house ( the time included putting tape and paper around windows (4) and doors (2) ). I used a roller to apply a second coat on this same area and it only took less then 3 hours. Using the sprayer, the swath keep getting smaller and smaller as I went along. I tried using the wide and narrow coverages and I also tried to use the detailed sprayer that came in the kit. I had to do a second coat (using a roller instead) cuz you could see how The sprayer covered ... having to use a ladder I work from the top down, maybe if I could have painted each horizontal piece from end to end, it would have looked better? I was using the same color as the old paint so the fact that you could see how the sprayer covered was bad. The instructions said I didn’t have to thin out the paint, the second day I tried to thin out the paint with a product for that purpose but that didn’t help and yes the sprayer was cleaned between uses. I’m sure had I just used a roller I would have been done in half the time.
