These tablets are great. I remember using something like this when i was a kid too. We wanted to get something to demonstrate to our child the importance of proper brushing and good brushing technique. I purposely didn't brush my teeth in the before pic, i really wanted to show the plaque. You can see the results. + Properly sealed tablets + Taste isn't terrible lol + Very good job highlighting the plaque, especially between the teeth. - Doesn't taste great. - Your tongue will be pink/purple for HOURS. A minor annoyance. When you brush afterwards, be prepared because you will make tons of pink foam. Lol Very happy with these tablets. Brought our child's attention to the importance of proper brushing and flossing. Great product!

I was really wondering if my kids (10 and 15) had halitosis because I would send them to the bathroom to brush their teeth and they would come out with nasty stinky breath. These tablets have really helped my boys with their oral hygiene. So grateful! Highly recommend!

I really like this product I actually have subscriptions to it however you might want to monitor your children as they are cleaning their teeth because there are areas where you can tell they have not gotten to and it does turn your mouth and tongue purple and it stays that way even after washing it out if it gets on your counter wipe right away cuz it does stain and it does stain on clothing and I'm not sure if my little one has a reaction to whatever's in the purple pill but he does get a rash around the mouth so I noticed I he's gotten it since we've been using them so I've stopped it but the rash takes a while to disappear and so I'll have to do a trial with him not having it done for a while to see if it is a reaction to the pills. I'll keep you all posted

As others have cautioned, the dye is pretty strong so you have to be careful when rinsing/spitting. Probably best to do it in a metal sink too just in case. Kind of expensive, but it does seem to be at about normal market price for similar products. I was hoping these would highlight older plaque/tartar or even calculus, but that's on me for not researching better. It also tints the non-plaque portions of the teeth/tongue pretty badly for a while, but not so much that it's completely impossible to distinguish the actual plaque at least. My one big complaint is that these things have the worst taste in the world. I can't imagine what they're using that has such a disgusting flavor, but I hope they improve that at some point.

First and foremost my apologies for those whom might get gross out with my teeth. It is for educational purposes. This great product was recommended to me by my dental hygienist. Even though my teeth are in great condition, she keep finding out on my 6 month cleaning the same three areas of concern. I am so greatful to her. I can now see clearly I wasn't spending enough time on those three areas in between my teeth which I right away have corrected. Now I see no purple markings which mean only one thing. That I am doing a GREAT JOB. Brushing my teeth in the morning and before going to bed along with flossing. I am looking forward to my next appointment and hear what my hygienist have to say. 😁 For anyone reading my post. This is a FANTASTIC product, it does NOT stain your teeth, very tasty, and at a great price.

Terrible taste! My 10 year old son used this one time and I will probably never be able to get him to use a product like this again because the taste was so terrible. I truly thought he was exaggerating so I tried it myself and he was correct. They are terrible and make you feel nauseous. It took brushing our teeth again twice, mouthwash several times, and a lot of water to get that terrible aftertaste out. I can’t even say how well they work. I switched my son to an auto brush u-shaped toothbrush so I got these to check the efficacy of the new toothbrush. He used the new toothbrush and then chewed up the tablet as instructed and there was no purple in his mouth at all which completely surprised me! I hope that means the tablets work and the new toothbrush is amazing for him, or he didn’t chew the tablet up well enough for it to reveal anything because the taste was so bad he was gagging within seconds. There is no way I can convince him to put another one of those tablets in his mouth so I guess we will be waiting until his next dental cleaning to see how well his new toothbrush is working for him and hope he isn’t missing major areas of his mouth. I really had high hopes for these tablets to help us know how well my sons new expensive u-shaped toothbrush was working, but unfortunately that did not happen.

I remember using something similar to this product when I was a kid, so I bought these in an effort to get my three children to brush their teeth better (ages 12, 10, and 5). They really enjoy dyeing their teeth and tongues, so it's definitely a win for them! They honestly look forward to brushing their teeth every night now, and they definitely spend way longer brushing their teeth than they did before, so I guess it's a win for me as well The only downside is that it stains their mouths and tongues, and no amount of brushing will get rid of it so they can only use them at nighttime so that the color fades by morning. My kids wouldn't mind walking around all day with a purple mouth, but I definitely don't want them going to school looking like they ate purple candy for breakfast. All in all a great product and I hope my kids learn better brushing habits even when they stop using these tablets.
