No Support.
I have recently had rotor cuff surgery, the sling the hospital gave me was useless so I purchased this one.Yes,it is lightweight and yes it is breathable but as for comfort and more importantly support it was useless. To begin with there is not a strap going across the elbow part so your arm is exposed and there is no support, also my arm kept sliding down even with the sling in the correct position and myarm was across my chest ,the thing slid and I had to keep pulling my bad arm back with my good arm, much of the time my hand ended up practically pointing at the floor.Another thing is the strap, it’s very think and very uncomfy it kept moving towards the side of my face, horrible scratchy material.Would not recommend for anyone particularly anyone that has rotor cuff problems where the upper arm has to stay close to your body after surgery for 6 weeks. It’s a difficult painful surgery and in my case the tear was very large and my surgeon had trouble re attaching the tendon,so I am aware all the time that I need to be extra careful, I have found another sling that fully supports my arm/shoulder.

Vey hard to put on with a broken arm
The Velcro fastening for the neck band is almost impossible to do with one hand the fold over of the material does not pass easily through the receiving loop making it very difficult to attach with one hand while the other is in the sling it takes about 10 minutes of struggling to put this on it would be far better with a easy release clasp Also the material inside has no grip so your arm continually slips down the sling ending a part of it not in it and having to readjust all the time it will serve a purpose but not the best of designs

Not the same as the photos
I had to return this as the one I received was not made of the same material shown in the photos. It was a thin flimsy fabric, the stitching for the interior pockets showed through, and did not provide support. I have thin arms, and this was too small for me. The strap around the neck was well made however.

very supportive
this was very good support for my shoulder, the hospital only gave me a scarf shape cloth. was no good. 9 months down the line I still use this when shoulder given me pain

Good quality.
Good quality strong material. Shame it came up short in the arm so your hand hangs over when I needed more arm and wrist support. If using it laying down the buckle at the back of the sling dug in my back bring a short person I needed to adjust it tight. Can’t grumble at the price it’s good quality and well made.
