So this Matcha-Moringa elixir is superb. I bought it for myself. I have wanted to ween myself off of coffee but didn't want to lose energy - this was perfect. That is,, until my daughter got a hold of it and then it was gone so fast as she seems to be on a matcha kick too. Really love the flavor. I don't add anything. She adds sweetener so lots to play with. Highly recommend this.

I LOVE that they combine adaptogens with Matcha in a form that is delicious AND super easy to mix with my almond milk!...I didnt always love matcha, but this one is a keeper. I saw they have a matcha pancake recipe on their website that looks insane... looking forward to trying it!

If you're looking for your average green drink from those smoothie bars, this is not what this is. This drink is more of a super infused matcha green tea. You do get that average green tea matcha flavor but it packs a punch with the additional ingredients inside the container. They do recommend using a creamer or milk to give it a better more full smoothie texture and container. If you've never had a matcha it's more an acquired taste and you might have to get use to it.The powder just needs to be mixed and shaken and you'll have an amazing full taste. You can also blend it with ice to give yourself a super food matcha smoothie. This matcha is considered average in price point for ceremony grade matcha.

I drink this every morning and love the taste as well as the calming affect it has on me.

I hoped this would taste great, as I was curious about Lion's mane mushrooms and Moringa and whether they would have any affect on me. However, it just tastes bad. I hoped it would taste mostly like matcha, but I can't taste the matcha at all. I taste cinnamon and something bitter, and it's ruined all the smoothies I've put it in. I kept the smoothies bland on purpose with just my usual protein and a banana and some spinach, which is pretty neutral in flavor, and honey for sweetness. Normally this mix works well with pure matcha, but with this mixture it's just bad. It seems to taste good to everyone else. Maybe something in here is an acquired taste? Maybe I got a bad batch? I don't know, but it's just not for me due solely to the flavor.

I reviewed Joya's other Golden Milk powder too which I really enjoyed. This one is more potent and comes in a smaller jar but has the same amount of doses, 20. The matcha powder was super strong and came through well on the times I did it. I really appreciated the thought that went into this - as matcha has caffeine they also added Lion's Mane Mushroom, which can help cognition as well. They also put Ashwagandha in this, as was in their other supplement which can help anxiety and potentially round out any caffeine jitters potentially. This also has pine pollen, like the other supplement does, and Moringa powder, which adds some additional nutrition and could help with blood sugar and weight loss. They add some light cinnamon/vanilla too.The times I tried this it was super delicious and I couldn't detect the other herbal stuff, it just tasted like matcha with some undertones from the vanilla/cinnamon which I enjoyed. I put this in smoothies too and it's great. I'm not a super matcha snob but the powder arrived bright green and didn't look darker or oxidized or anything.I do see that they are offering a refill pack which is great because this is an expensive matcha powder! I guess matcha powders can be more expensive and as I said with their other drink these ingredients are top notch and come in a pretty glass jar but it does end up coming out to about 2 dollars per cup along with the milk you're using which is kind of pushing it for me. This was a treat for me but I may make my own mix in the future with matcha + cinnamon and vanilla and stick to my own medicinal mushroom powders.I really support what this brand is doing but if there's any way to reduce the price that would be great! The bulk packs are a great first step. Awesome that they are not using any sugar or junk additives though so I support that 100%!
