This will ensure (s)he can't hear the others reacting to his/her's lead, thereby shocking the others into silence because they'll think the screaming party is over. Next, Bluetooth stream birds chirping near a stream from your smartphone using one of those fall-asleep-fast apps; there's LOTS to choose from. Then, watch your former screamer doze off into a deep sleep while the other kiddos follow because, yes, the screaming party really is over and they've been fighting the drowsiness the whole time anyway.
