Golden Spoon Mason Jars, With Regular Lids, and Lids for Drinking, Dishwasher Safe, BPA Free, (Set of 6) (10 oz)

I initially bought these for overnight oats. They are just what I wanted, and the perfect size! I add in my ingredients, put on the non-hole cover, shake, shake, shake, and next morning it is ready to go, but still has room for the fruit I want to add.I love the size - fits nice in my hand; not too big, not too small, and rounded.I find I am also using them often for drinks. I prefer drinks with straws, and this is perfect when I do not want a lot. The cover with the straw hole has a thick rubber ring around the hole so the straw is nice and snug.They are also very useful for storing small amounts of food (I do not throw anything away :) and for prep work.The glass as thick as my "regular" mason jars, but I like that the covers are one piece. I am not looking to preserve in these so the one piece is better for me. I believe in *form* as well as function - these have great form! I love their look. They have "Golden Spoon" molded on one side, and on the other side a artistic chef image is molded in. And I already stated how I love the rounded design.I really need to to get more of these!

These are NOT canning jars. Canning jars have a double lid. Those will not leak. These are one piece lids - and in the description it says they are for use as and arts and craft jar, storage jar, or a "drinking" jar. Yes, it says "preserve", but it does not say canning. It means just that, it will preserve whatever you put in it--as any jar would.I personally did not find that they leak. I filled them with water and turned them upside down and they did not leak. However, it is not a two piece lid and so therefore I wouldn't trust it 100% - this is common sense. I buy those plastic lids, the white ones, that fit large mouth mason jars, but they do not have a rubber gasket as a separate piece and so would I turn that jar on its side when using those lids......no.That said, I love these jars. I use them to make single sized portions of yogurt in. They are thicker than mason jars and I like the lids. This kind of lid does not rust here in the desert so I cannot vouch for whether it will somewhere in the midwest.I will buy these again. Each jar was very well packed in individual packing material and arrived safely. It meets the requirements of the description of the product and I am pleased with them.I think that the Golden Spoon people have been thoughtful in the making of these jars and I appreciate anyone who makes an attempt, especially in this day and age, to create a well made product. Did they have to include a lid for a straw...no....I think that shows a little forethought and I send a Kudos their way.

These are just what I was looking for and good value for money. Two comments: first, they arrived with two lids, one with a hole in the middle for straws, and one regular lid for storage. Super cute idea, and although at this moment I am using them only for storage, I will keep the other lids. But the fact that they have two lids is not written anywhere in the description, would be good to add this.Second, I was hoping the jars would fit my handheld blender as I use these to make sauces and dressings and store them in the fridge. I should have measured my blender and looked at the measurements of the mouth of the jar, which I didn't. The mouth is too small to fit the blender. No biggie though.

These jars are amazing. I attach my blender bottom, and it fits like a surgical glove! 16 oz saved my life from washing too many dishes.Fragmented customer comments but you know what, if you cannot stand the taste of pea protein and need to blend it into a tasty smoothie then I recommend these jars.-These jars come with two screw types lids, one with a hole in the center for a straw and a regular top for a complete closed cover. The lids are regular rimmed and work with blender attachments.-Easy to clean and dishwasher safe.-Aesthetically pleasing.-The secure packaging they had was that meshy foam type savers that they put on pears at the grocery store.

I have had no problems with my set of Mason Jars leaking, as other reviewers have commented. I have found the jars to be sturdy and easy to use. I love that they came with both drinking lids and closed lids. My only issue is with the lids. While I put the jars in the dishwasher, we hand wash the lids as I was unsure how the metal who hold up in the dishwasher. Unfortunately; even hand washing did not stop the lids from having the inside coating start scraping off where they screw onto the jars (so that they look scratch up and you can see the metal under the white). It also looks like they may be starting to rust where they have scratched.

These are the cutest Mason jars I have ever seen! I originally bought the jars to make butter for a classroom project. They needed to be glass and were the perfect size. Best of all, the end product was able to be stored! Now that the project is over, I will use the jars to store homemade juice and other healthy foods that need an airtight lid. They are the perfect serving size for my grandchildren. The hole in the second lid for a straw will save on spills and clean-up, not to mention, they are just fun. (The jars come with two lids, one with a hole and one without.) Additionally, the company has great customer service! When I received my jars, one of the jars had a crack in it. I emailed the company and they responded to me within minutes and sent me a replacement. You won't regret your purchase.

Came early then expected they look great sizing looks fine. The lids do feel thin the jars are good l like how they have separated lids for straws. Going to use them for overnight oats aswell anything else. Thank you.
