CHROMA True Reds 5RV Chroma Ruby Permanent Hair Color by L'Oreal Paris

Wasn't as red as I would have liked it, looked more pink, even used it again n left it on longer hoping to get a better red color

I used 10 volume to not damage my hair, and I didn't want to lift a lot just saturate so I could put a conditioning semi in it afterwards. I left it in a out an hour, and it did great which minimal damage. The color was spot on for a smaller lift, and it went well with the color I put on it after(Medusa Bite Me) The smell is so strong. That got me a little bit, but I didn't have a reaction so it is what it is. Great value for the price.

Doesn’t work well on dark hair but you can still see a difference.

I bought the Chroma Ruby from a seller here but it arrived damaged. I was refunded and bought the same thing elsewhere. I have dark brown hair that had a ton of dark red highlights that have faded over time. I longed for my red hair back. This color worked out well. I used a 20 developer and left it on for about 25 minutes. My hair didn't change completely to ruby red but there was plenty of visible red and no damage. When I wash my hair, I don't see any red coming out and the color is holding up well. I will be buying more but may bleach some areas so that the red really shines through.

Definitely not very red it feels a bit orangey brownish, it's good quality and no hair damage, easy to mix and apply was just hoping for a brighter red effect. I'll probably buy again and leave it on longer then 30mins next time.
