very small remote glue dowels and all joints much stronger and does not flinch when you carry or slide it around
Was not too hard to build looks solid slides on a floor easy other than a script floor throws a lot of heat nice space for for cable box and other electronic,s only complaint is that there is no temperature control on either the remote or the actual fireplace insert so you have to turn it on and off also the remote is very small.and easy to lose I recommend that you use Velcro on it and Velcro it when not in use great look nice that you can run the fire without heat would look better without the red fire in places over all very happy recommend you buy wood glue as they give you more of it so you like I can glue the dowels and every joint and if your not good at following instructions exactly have someone who is build it for you

The product is beautiful and very well made the pieces were solid and not flimsy. It did take almost all day to put together but I was very happy with the end product. However, I missed the part of the description that said only one heat setting so that part I am disappointed with. But I guess that's my bad since I missed it.

Nice Fireplace Console
I'm truly pleased with the weathered Whalen Media Fireplace Console. As someone said, there's a lot of pieces so it'd be worth having an expert put it together. Although, I did get tickled hearing the men-folk huff and puff putting it together. I think it looks more expensive than what I paid, gives off pretty good heat, and already have two people considering purchasing one of their own.

Hinges are Hard to Install
I love this product. For the price its awesome. I put it together by myself. Took me a few hours. Then I got to the hinges for the doors. I still have not gotten them on. I am hoping a friend can help me get them to work right.

This is perfect for my small living room. It fits my 55" nicely and the fireplace is a cozy addition to my room. Sturdy and well built. I love it!
