An excellent device. Putting ice on an ankle with ice packs at home is always a problem--how do you hold the stuff there? This one works just fine. The gel packs included are outstanding. They are flexible even when just out of the freezer. (I haven't tried heating them--what my ankle needs is ice). The packs mold to the your foot and ankle--you slip them into pouches--one goes at the back of the ankle, the other under foot. The wrap goes around the ankle and cinches up just fine. The wrap on the bottom of the foot isn't quite long enough to go around my toot and hook the Velcro---but then I have a size 15 E foot and know that "one size does not always fit all. That said, the ice pack remains centered under my foot and it is all good.

I pulled my Achilles tendon on my left foot overdoing it on long walk including going down 14 stories worth of steps. I'm doing a program to lose weight and need to continue walking, at least a bit. This product has really helped using it at least once a day both before and after walking. It's easy to keep the material part in the box and the cooling packets in the freezer to be ready to go. Even took it on vacation. It's well made and should last a long time.

I have tendonitis and plantar facitis and am constantly looking for help. I don't know if ice is the way to go, but this makes it so much easier to ice. (Oh you can also do hot. I choose cold) It is a little big, but it puts the ice in the right spot-- right along my arch and up the back of my ankle. It stays quite cold for a while. I usually ice for about 20 minutes and it could probably go a little longer.

Ordered this item to help me with some Achilles tendinitis, but it is also helping me with chronic plantar fasciitis issues as well. Yes, my feet hate me. I've been giving them a tough time for 75 years, and it doesn't take much to piss them off these days. Love this product. Shipped quickly, reasonably priced, relieves stress on the whole foot & ankle (not just one area), and pretty easy to adjust. One recommendation is that you avoid walking around a lot on it because the ice bags can change shape and perhaps trip you up. Hasn't happened to me, but I can see where it could. The safe solution is to carry the ice pack by hand to wherever you are sitting or laying, then put in on and stay put. When it's time to move, take it off. (helpful hint - you can always put it on again when you arrive at your next location, or maybe it's time to put it back in the freezer.) Totally Genius move, I know. Don't thank me, but would appreciate if you would think kindly of me from time to time.

It is a well made wrap and fits well. It is perfect for reducing the swelling from Achilles Tendonitis. I used a sock underneath so I can keep the wrap with ice pack on longer. The reason I give it 3 stars is that after using it, I realized that you can accomplish the same thing by placing an ice pack between two socks. This does have a nice compartment for the ice packs, but I think its a bit expensive for what it is. If you are looking to have a wrap that is designed for this purpose, then I would recommend it, but keep in mind you can just put an ice pack between two tall athletic socks and it will hold it in place over the back of the heel quite well.

I have suffered from Plantar Fasciitis for a long time now and recently decided to start easing back into running. As I started running again I noticed that not only did my feet hurt as expected but I was having some pretty intense Achilles pain as well. I knew I needed to ice the area but did not have a convenient way to do so which prompted my amazon search and ultimately led me to this product. Initially I will say it looked like the pockets that hold the ice packs were way to small to fit them but if you just use a little force and position them at the right angle they will in fact fit. This has gotten much easier after just a couple uses. I haven't tried heating the pads yet but the ice packs work really well and have provided the sweet relief I have been looking for! Highly recommend for anyone who is active or just experiencing a lot of foot, ankle, or Achilles pain as this provides an easy way to relieve the pain while you lay back and watch Netflix (or Amazon Prime of course...can't leave them out on this page right?).

So glad I saw this. Last week out of the blue I started having Achilles' tendon pain. I could barely walk. I was taking one of my husband's very long socks and putting an ice pack in it and knotting it around my ankle. I knew there had to be something better. This has a place for two separate ice packs - which both stay cold a very, very long time and they are easy to insert and stay put. They also refreeze very quickly. I do wish they sold spare packs. For me, it does take a little maneuvering to rest the back of my foot on the right spot where I need the ice, but it is really ideal. It is a neoprene material, and is very well made. The Velcro adjusts easily, and fits as shown. I don't know if I would walk around with the ice pack inserted on the sole of my foot, but if you had to get up, the back one is easy to walk with. I would absolutely love to see some king of back wrap, or other wraps from this company. I love this thing!!!

This is a one size fits all. Not specific sizes as it states when ordering. The ice packs do not cover the whole product- only the back of the calf and the bottom of the foot. So, if you don't need coolness on your ankle and want to ice the bottom arch of your foot, it might be ok. The item comes with no pamphlet or any instructions. Also, comes unwrapped. Apparently it could be second hand. I am SO disappointed that I purchased this. I attempted to return as soon as I saw the actual product, but Amazon states its not returnable. Third party seller? I have no idea. There's no specific return policy listed and when attempting to find out more information you end up on the road to nowhere. Buying this was the straw that broke the camel's back for me and will be cancelling my whole subscription to Amazon. I'm so sick of "third party sellers" and being unable to get information or return items. This company is such a scam.

I one thing that I had trouble with and I ended up with two of them and billed for two because when I started my order then I wanted to confirm and see how they were sized before I finished the order since I wasn't sure on the sizing since not much was said about it , but it was to late by the time I figured it out I got two orders and couldn't cancel the one order . I didn't know that one size fits all I was sure if it was one size fits all or it comes in sizes S-L??

Nach 2-wöchigem, täglichen Gebrauch der Knöchelbandage ist festzustellen, dass die Bandage praxistauglich schnell mit den Kühlpacks zu bestücken und anzuziehen ist. Das Material macht einen gut verarbeiteten Eindruck und die Bandage sitzt auch über 1 Std ausreichend fest und gut. Ich habe mir eine zweite Bandage als Wechselmöglichkeit und eine weitere Kniebandage des Herstellers bestellt und im Einsatz.
