Davis Manufacturing Advanced Conditioning Treatment for Pets, 16 oz

Bought this to help give my dogs’ skin and coat a boost of moisture.It works well. I used about a tablespoon for each 40lb dog and adjusted from there for the bigger/smaller dogs.I’m not too sure what they mean by hot oil treatment since it cools to room temperature before applying. That is what I did for a couple dogs. For the rest of the dogs I just squirted it straight into room temp water and shook it well and it worked just the same, really. It foams up quite a bit when shaken with water.It did noticeably soften and moisturize the hair/coat after just one use. This product has too much fragrance and gives me a headache so I used it as a pre-treatment only. Applied, let it sit, then rinsed and shampooed and conditioned with my normal products. If there was less fragrance I would have used after conditioning, too, but the migraines aren’t worth it.I don’t like the tub. I don’t like sticking my fingers into products. I transferred some into a silicone squeeze bottle which worked much better and is more sanitary.I do rate this as 5 stars even though the fragrance is overpowering for me which limits its use. I would probably buy it again but if they had an unscented version I would most likely keep it in stock all the time.

I’m a dog groomer and I got this product on recommendation from a colleague. It’s magic! I use it on all my Shetland sheepdogs and shepherd-type breeds with bad bristle butt (fried bum hair) and it helps soften and moisturize like new. I’ve also been using it on my own dog to keep her coat healthy and shiny and like the effects. Highly recommend

Nothing bad to report...love it ,the price is right and it smells good plus Mia and ZEPPELIN are super soft n fluffy.

So many of my pet parents have loved this. I have been able to demat and restore ears and tails that normally I would have shaved. I love Davis products and will be trying more!

I have to long hair shih tzu. After bath their hair looks so nice and silky. Also it has been easier to detangle them.
