Do Not be fooled with this book
This is not the book that you will need when you go to take your certification course. This is not follow the American Heart Association curriculum and you’re not gonna have time to try and figure out where stuff is in this book. The book is not bad. It has the information for the most part that you need but if you’re taking the ACLS course, this is not the book you want to buy.

Very Well Written Book on ACLS
The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support book is a comprehensive manual for medical professionals which provides a detailed process on increasing survival rates for patients suffering from cardiac arrest. The book gives concise summaries on the chain of survival, anatomy of the heart, circulation, airway management, defibrillation, and post-care. The questions at the end of each chapter also helps with retaining key points on each topic. Additionally, case studies are provided to help guide medical staff through potential scenarios that could occur such as non-arrest rhythms, opioid emergencies, ACS, stroke and also dealing with pediatric and pregnant patients. There is also a section on patients that might have COVID-19. Overall, this book is very well thought out and laid out on ACLS and all its many considerations.
