I used this safety line for the first time yesterday when I was up on my garage roof spraying for moss. This is an excellent product. It appears to be top quality. And easy to use. There were no instructions but most people should figure it out. The only hard part was getting into my harness 😋. Seriously though… it was a confidence builder having the safety line available. I used the line a few times when I started slipping on the roof. I just kept an extra hand on the line to help holdMyself and thank goodness I didn’t actually fall and test the line and harness to catch me. It is important to remember to constantly adjust the line as one moves around. You need enough line to move a bit but obviously shouldn’t have an excess amount of slack line or if You do fall you might hit the ground before the line tightens. YikesThat would be embarrassing.

Work as advertised.

Used this when I replaced my roof last month. The rope seems plenty strong but it isn't nearly as bulky as others I've seen, which makes it a little easier to work with and work around. As far as the slip buckle (forget what it's called) for adjusting rope length it works OK but it doesn't really bite down on the rope when you let go of it like the squeeze type does, so sometimes I wasn't sure if it was grabbing the rope. In reality it most likely would have grabbed the rope if I started to slip but it gave me a slight sense of uncertainty about it, even if my feelings were unfounded. Fortunately I never had to put it to the test so I really don't know for sure how well it will work in a real emergency. Anyway, I got through my job safely without any incidents!Pros: The price of this rope was reasonable compared to others I looked at...It isn't as bulky as others I've seen and used...It makes my wife happy thinking I'm being safe...It at least gives you a false sense of security thinking you're safe (L.O.L).For me it turned out to be a good purchase and I would buy again if I ever needed one, which hopefully I won't! This one should do me for the rest of my life!

Just the rope alone is worth the value they are asking for the pieces put together in this package. Great form and functionality.

When i say is confusing im not saying is not bad! Butnis just a little hard to work with so hopefully someone else can understand it better than me!!

We were working on a very slippery, steep slope. The roof was covered with asbestos composite hard surface shingles that were covered with slippery, hardened lichen growth. I was working primarily in the four 45’ long valley areas, so that gave me a little extra security, but I had to be leaning back quite a ways to keep from slipping and sliding. The nylon rope does have some stretching factor initially, but it tightened up and held securely after first absorbing my weight.Highly recommended safety equipment.I must say that I felt very confident in the metal fall arrest automatically locking hardware. It held me securely in place and I had to manually momentarily disengage it in order to let my self slowly up or down the slope. I was very confident about the safety and security of this rope, but also because we had it security anchored to a poly steel rope around the central turret that was above us.
