Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes

Our grandson just turned 2 and LOVES Pete the Cat! We first found Pete on YouTube with his white shoes, and he’s been a favorite ever since. The books are beautifully illustrated, and teach excellent moral values. I’ll be ordering more until we complete the collection!

Fun rhyming text and fornilder children, fun math! We also used science in making cupcakes. All our kiddos say: "YES" to this book. We also added art and visited grandparents!

Our favorite book is any Pete the Cat story. Add the cupcakes and you’ve got a mystery. Buy the pjs and go all out crazy! Why not? Grandkids are worth it!

My grandkids live a distance away and this book has become a favorite for me to read to them over Whats Ap. Lots of laughing and counting and fun. Illustrations are vi rant a d fun.

I bought this book to donate to the Literacy group I volunteer for. When a child likes Pete the Cat they REALLY like him. The books all rhyme which makes them easier to read. I use poetry a lot so kids can experience the cadence of reading aloud. It helps kids who read in monotone or try to read as fast as they can. The advantage of a rhyming story is that the young reader can guess what a word is when I model the rhythm and look at them to guess or read the rhyming word. Kids who know the words to jingles, or hit songs always like poetry. The big Pete the Cat fans really like to read a title that's new to them.
