Quality for the price
I love how light the rod is it definitely spans the gap between buggy whip and too firm. I haven't accidentally landed too big with rod yet so I can say how it would perform on slightly larger fish. It is great for small streams I have been able to get into some other wise non fished water because of the size of this rod. Works great for little native trout, creek chubs and small rock bass. For the money you can't beat it.

Great value for a beginner, experience angler for small streams or ponds
Well, I got the 6ft Moonlight as a curiousity for a small format rod.I will glady recommend this to anyone who wants a short tenkara rod. It has good action, very light weight and for $20 is a steal. The caps on the end and tip are great.I felt confidant with the rod with up to 1lb fish so far, no worries of going heavier but it seems well built. My only drawback on it is the handle, its very short and has no grip/texture. First thing I'l be adding is some fishing rod grip tape to fix that. Otherwise it works well.My experience is a few years of tenkara in lakes, streams and rivers. I usually am fishing Tenkara USA 14' rods or Uzaki Nissin Rods. This thing does well for itself versus those $200+ rods.Try it, you might like it!

It's okay...
Got what I expected for such a low price. The rod is okay, but it came with some chips taken out of carbon fiber on the 3rd segment of the rod. It shouldn't affect the use of the rod and at this price point I'm not exactly suprised just a little disappointed.

Not worth the money
I got the smaller size for my daughter. Cheap and way overpriced for what it is. I missed the return window so now I’m stuck with this useless stick.

Compact rod / feisty fighter
Tested this little rod (6ft) in south Louisiana. Picks up killifish and small bait fish very well. Biggest hit of the day was a 7 inch hardhead catfish on 7x tippet (2lb test) and a size 26 gamakatsu egg hook. Can't wait to get this after the micros in the area.

Doubt it would last very long
Didn’t expect it to be so lightweight.

my first tenkara rod
I bought this for the late summer, early fall crappie and perch fishing. Mostly done in 8' of water or less. A lot of the time I just lift the fish out of the water without reeling anyway. This rod came in a plain brown envelope with no protection of any kind. That was scary. There were no papers with it, no instructions or ads even. I pulled the rod out of the cute fabric jacket and the end cap promptly fell off. I just kept the rod sections from being all over the floor. This rod is cute as heck and weighs almost nothing. With a few trips to the internet for help I set up the rod and now wait for a break in our autumn monsoons to try it out. I am sure this rod will find its place in my fishing kit.
