ToozeyDog Training Lead, 5m Long Waterproof Leash with Hand Loop and Mesh Bag, Durable for Small to Large Dogs, Orange

I am a dog walker, and some of my clients' dogs have sketchy recall. I did a ton of research on long lines, and got this one due to it being neon yellow and waterproof, plus having a soft handle. It's absolutely awesome. A great length (10m) to play fetch and provide some freedom without being too difficult to manage.I took it through mud and muddles, and it wiped clean as soon as I got it home.It was difficult to stop it from getting tangled when reeling it in and also when putting it in my bag, but that's going to happen with any long line, to be honest.It's relatively lightweight and doesn't absorb water at all, so great all round.

The product itself is well made and strong. I bought this to replace a nylon training lead that got heavy in the early morning dew. The Toozey lead is heavier to start with than the nylon version when dry and whilst it doesn't hold the water like the nylon one, I am finding that the weight of the lead drags more and pup gets his legs caught in the lead more that the nylon version. The lead got easily caught round a tree which the nylon version hasn't in the past.If your dog is bigger I am sure the weight won't be an issue. It is a well made product and I have no fear around using it as a emergency stop. We chose the orange version and it is easily seen.However, for us with a young medium breed pup this is too heavy and too easily wrapped around limbs.

Just received all three sizes today. I have a reactive dog so need different sizes for different occasions have used the 5m one on a street walk this afternoon and the 15m for when playing ball in open space can keep an eye on my dog safely around other dogs, they are so light and easy to manage even the 15m. Not tried the 10 m yet but would use that for training work. The clasp is strong for my 21kG sheepdog. The weight of the 10and 15kG lines are much lighter than the nylon12kG one that I have and it gets heavier when wet won’t happen with this material . These are wipe proof and waterproof so perfect in the wet plus muddy areas and don’t get heavier when mucky or.wet. I chose these because yellow is bright and easy to see. Plus yellow is normally the colour owners use for nervous, scared or reactive dogs. Brilliant product and can’t wait to use these lines properly.

Grippy (tactile plasticised surface) and thus tactile. I can hold our 20kg dog with one hand on part of the lead (not the loop handle).Dog has not bitten through it in months but is not particularly bitey so cannot pass comment on all use cases.Stitching is robust.Thin so easy despite length to store in a big pocket. Comes with a net bag so it dries out.Loop handle on end (beware it may catch on the ground but you can easily cut it off). This rarely occurs in our use case.Dries quickly, never knotted in months of daily use being dragged over tarmac and open country at speed.Hi-Vis. means horseriders are reassured and other dog walkers can clearly see we're on lead.Good quality durable spring clasp. Long hair catches in it if attached to top harness with the button facing down.Have the shortest length, which is thin/light enough for the dog not to be bothered by it.

This is an excellent product, the only downside being the price. It costs 3-4 times the cost of other training leads. However it is easy to use. We bought a 15m lead to trail behind our Border Collie puppy. It runs freely, doesn't become heavier when used in the wet, if you stand on it it brakes against your foot without sliding easily through. Being bright dayglow yellow it is easy to see. It comes with a useful mesh carry bag (would be more useful with a carry handle) and in a zip plastic bag which is probably unnecessary. I haven't had any problems but the supplier seems to keen to receive feedback and I think would be Ken to rectify any problems. A useful dog training tool

Great product interns of quality and functionality.Essentially a really long lead but it enables you to train your dog with a greater freedom whilst still remaining in control.The material is durable and easy to clean, it's light weight and a substantial thickness. All aspects of it are to a very high quality.It comes with a travel bag which is handy for storage as well as transporting it places.What I really like is the colour and thickness of the product, most items of this kind are a trip hazard however this is much less likely with this one given its bright colour and width.Great product, really happy with it.

Sadly my puggle can't be trusted off lead and I have found this is the best compromise I can give her. A retractable lead is not strong enough to hold her when she decides to head off after her prey - to keep her on a short lead seems downright cruel when striding out with her on the Common. On this lead I can keep hold of her but she does enjoy some degree of freedom. Yes it gets wound round a few trees and people but we've both become relatively adept at dealing with that and the fact its bright yellow makes everyone aware of where it is. I wear gloves to protect my hands, I have 3 now in various places so I'm not without one when I take her out.

Really pleased with this - it's light, easily wiped down to clean and because it doesn't soak up water and mud remains really lightweight in all weathers instead of getting heavier and heavier like my nylon web line. It's very soft to hold (although still a good idea to wear gloves!) and has rounded edges. Very flexible and supple unlike my very expensive biothane job which I no longer use. Rolls up into a small ball so fits easily into a pocket when not in use. Seems strong, although I would buy something wider and sturdier if I had a large dog. Very very bright neon yellow.
