2 Pair Solar Spanner Wrenches for MC4 Connectors, Solar Panel Connector Tool Assembly

Good function for the budget conscious people who want a decent price on a product that works. Item function is good, though. My fingers are too big for the solar connector release mechanism, so I use this particular tool constantly.

These tools help it in installing solar panel connectors. I thought they look cheap and I didn’t think they would hold up well.. I was wrong. They did a great job and made life easier.. They were inexpensive and I consider them a necessary tool when working with solar panels.

These work very well but you need to buy 2 packages. They are plastic, which will break but seem to work the best of the MC4 spanner tools. Will buy again.

Two of these broke after one simple project. My suggestion is buy a metal tool.

I recently added a solar panel to my camper van and while testing the cable connections did not realize that MC4 cables needed a tool to disconnect them... whoops! These arrived quickly and worked great. I have a couple in my van and a couple in the workshop, just in case I need to use them again. The blue color makes them easy to locate in my toolbox.

I have Green Magic 200w and 400w panels that other disconnect tools did NOT fit. These DO fit. Highly recommended.

No happy with these at all. The teeth breaks too easily. I have a different plastic tool of this type I have had and used for years. The teeth breaks too easily and do not easily un-clip the connector's pins.

If you have either portable solar panels or a fixed array that uses MC4 connectors, do yourself a favor and invest in a set of these! I got tired or tearing up my fingers and fingernails every time I disconnected a portable panel from my power stations. I figured there must be a better/easier way. Turns out, there was! Worth every penny!
