Great value
I have used cosequin powder for at least 10 years. I was so happy when they came out with the pelleted version! I feel like less gets wasted since it all gets eaten and there is no wasted powder in the bottom of the bucket. When the hoof support version was announced I was so excited. I have experienced the same great results with the pellets that I did from the powder and was also able to save money by discontinuing my horse’s old hoof supplement and opting for this one great combined pellet!

Game Changer!!!
Cosequin ASU Joint & Hoof Support Is an excellent product. Our gelding had been struggling with a fusing hock and arthritis in other areas. Our goal was to help him feel comfortable and assist with mobility. Our vet recommended Cosequin ASU. Within a month we could see our geldings movement patterns have changed. He was moving around with ease and was so much more social. He has been on Cosesuin ASU for a year now for maintenance. Excellent product!

Good supplement, but lacking
For a combo supplement, this is decent. However, I feel like it's lacking in the amount of dosing you actually get. Cosequin has always been an excellent supplement in my book. I have used Cosequin ASU on and off for years, and will continue to always keep it in my rotation.I have a 14 year old reining and cowhorse trained quarter horse. She's getting to the point of needing a little extra maintenance in the joint department, and her hooves have always been crap. My vet advised us to try Cosequin ASU for her joints. I noticed a measurable difference in how she was moving while using it. She wasn't as stiff, used her back end more, and was overall more balanced. I was using a separate hoof supplement at the time, and as any horse owner knows, managing multiple supplements can be annoying. I saw the joint and hoof combo hit the market and thought, "bingo!"She's been on the supplement for 6 months and I've seen a noticeable decline in her overall flexibility, balance, suppleness, and her hoof walls are starting to become brittle. When comparing the ingredients in Cosequin ASU to Joint & Hoof, Joint & Hoof only has half the amounts of Glucosamine, MSM, Chondroitin, and Manganese. It also only contains 20mg of Biotin. These levels just don't seem to be enough for my middle-aged girl, so we will be going back to the regular Cosequin ASU and separate hoof supplement.Overall, I think it's a good supplement for a horse needing a little extra, but not enough to really see a difference in a horse with obvious joint and hoof issues. The pellet is great, and easy to feed, and the price point is good as well. Just not enough supplement for us middle aged girls.

My horse would not eat it
I think the joint supplement only product is very good. After three weeks of twice a day dosage my 19 year old's hocks are not cracking hardly at all. This product, with the hoof supplement too...my horse will not eat it. So try to buy as small a quantity as you can to see if your horse will eat it.

Palatable and taste
Neither horse would eat it or any feed containing this product. Don't waste your money.
