Does the 12 inch come with a dipped handle?

In the part number the " D " means dipped handle so D507-12 will have a dipped handle.

Can the 5/8" jaw opening be verified? klein's web site specifies 1/2" for this model the d506-4. is it made in spain or china?

Good question! The D506-4 has measurement on the wrench up to 1/2" and (12.7 mm). It is made in Spain. If you need the wrench to open up more please look at the D507-6 it has the capacity up to 5/16'' (23.8 mm) also has the measurement. It is made in Spain. Hope this helps. We have both in stock.
