You won’t regret it, even if they sit in the box under your bed for 3 months before you figure out what to put in them (not that I would know anything about that of course)…

I usually love Sterilite products, but I was very disappointed by these containers. I’m relieved to have bought them when they were majorly discounted. The size and the quality of the plastic is decent. The problem is that the containers don’t close properly. I’ve tried closing different boxes that were empty, lightly filled, and very full. The result is the same; these containers don’t close properly. The latch part is not the problem. The issue is that there’s a gap on the sides, to the point where I can easily fit a nail file or a crochet hook (or maybe even both!). The containers I bought at the dollar store (that are almost identical in size) are much better quality than these and they were only a dollar each! I bought these Sterilite containers hoping they’d be better quality and because I am always losing the lids. I will have to experiment with what I can put in these. I bought them primarily for craft organization and to organize some toiletries, i.e. soap. Would I repurchase? Definitely not, but I think I should be able to use them for some things except for small items. On a positive note, the packaging is excellent and the containers arrived undamaged and quickly.

Most importantly to me is that the size, quality and functionality of the containers are exactly what I needed and was hoping for! Thay are absolutely perfect for my afterschool program! Perfect for what we needed it for (craft storage). Good price for the number you get. We also bought another size (bigger), and two of these small ones stack nicely on top of the larger one. They are large enough for markers but not for pencil crayons (unless placed diagonally). These have a little give to them and the lid comes off easily, but it’s not a bad thing. I love that the lid is attached so they don’t end up all over the place during craft time!

Love these so much, I use them for EVERYTHING. Extra sponges and gloves in the kitchen, sewing threat, lace trims, chains, a "junk drawer", my wallet collection, assorted crafting gear, quilting scraps, one whole quilt-tops worth of squares per box - they're amazing. Slap a chalkboard label on the front and they even LOOK nice.However, not particularly durable - so don't throw them on the ground, or drop them on cement. I've already lost two that way. Even with that, would 100% suggest to anybody with a crafting hobby or three. :)
