Arctic Skid-Resistant Carpet Stair Treads work great on most hard stair surfaces including wood, tile and marble! These stair treads feature a thick, premium, skid-resistant rubber backing to help create a safer, more secure, slip-resistant walking surface for you and your family including your dog or other pets. They can be placed directly onto your stairs to help protect the surface and create additional traction. Although these carpet stair treads do have a skid-resistant backing, they do not attach to your steps. To ensure that they do not move. These stair treads are easy to clean with a hand-held vacuum or hose attachment and can also be spot cleaned. Due to the skid-resistant rubber backing these stair treads are only front loading machine washable at cold or warm on delicate cycle. Do not using top loading washers. Do not tumble dry, or Iron. Great for aging dog struggling with laminate stairs
We have an aging large breed dog who recently started having issues going up and down our laminate stairs. It was to the point where he was scared to walk up or down them on his own and would psych himself out and end up slipping or almost falling. After some searching, we found these non slip stair treads and bought 2 sets for the main stairs in our split level home. They just lay on top of the stairs and the backing helps keep them in place. They're also apparently machine washable, though we haven't tried that just yet. Already our "Baby Boy" (7 year old rottie mix) is running up and down the stairs again with no issues whatsoever. Definitely recommended, for the price it can't be beat.

My dog is happy
My poor little min pin was afraid to walk down the steps after tumbling once or twice so I decided to try these to give her some traction. It worked perfectly and looks nice. She no longer whines at the top of the steps for me to get her. She's walking down them fine and without fear.

Helpful!
These really help my Pomeranian make it up our wood stairs. They blend in with the dark wood and stay in place pretty well!

Cheap & thin
Very thin and doesn't stay stuck to rug tape strips. Cheap quality would be the correct term.
