No. Real Lapis Lazuli is quite expensive. I order a lot of gems via the internet and more and more is fake. And stones this size of lapis would be extremely expensive.

Q: Which rune book on the market would you suggest i purchase that has all these particular symbols in the book to reference upon. a lot of books don’t h

the little booklet that comes with them is pretty good with only slight differences from the one that I initially learned with. The Healing Runes by Ralph H Blum and Susan Loughman. It contains all the same symbols. The major difference is The Healing Runes assigns the blank rune as The Divine. I've read several places that the blank rune is to be pulled out of the set and saved as a fill-in, in case you lose or damage a rune in your set. They say the the blank has no value. That it is nothing. Since I learned from The Healing Runes (Tools for the Recovery of Body, Mind, Heart, and Soul) that the blank represents The Divine. I'm always thrilled to pull the Blank! How cool to have The Divine be a part of the healing process.

Q: how big are the stones?

They're comfortably small, but not tiny... I took a photo of 3 in my hand, but don't seem able to post it here :-( ... They're gorgeous, smooth and fit into a zip bag easily. Hope this helps.
