These are nice chairs for the price. They seem to be made well. The blue is a great color. The only problem was one of the chairs had a small dent at the top. I did not return, because did not think it was worth my effort. But it should not have been shipped.

The media could not be loaded. When I opened the box, and lifted a chair out, my first impression was, "These have to be the lightest folding chairs I have ever picked up!" I have chairs, whose origins span decades. Some are heavier, some are lighter, but these are the lightest.I started comparing the chairs, the seat and the back seem to be considerably lighter gauge metal, and I'm sure the tubing is the same.I set up two of these chairs, and two of my oldest, heaviest, and least attractive chairs side by side. Aside from the lighter gauge metal, they compare favorably. Decided to try a video - and got rained out. Enjoy the beginnings of a washed out video!In my estimation, if you need these chairs for industrial or entertainment or educational heavy duty use, you can probably expect 5 to 10 years use out of them. Lighter duty use of the same nature should give you a decade and more of service. Those of us who use these kind of chairs around the home and garden, with occasional family gatherings and church functions should get decades of use from them.For grown, healthy men, the light weight will be meaningless, but for smaller, less strong people, the weight may seem a godsend.

We have two toddlers who like to climb so we can't have chairs around our dining table, it's just too much of a battle. So I bought these to store compactly in a closet for when we want to sit down to eat & they solved our seating problem.
