excellent kickstand.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:it was heavy duty.I have a Phatmoto Rover and the kickstand ripped right out from underneath the 116th aluminum that they mounted the kickstand to. Stupid. This kickstand is perfect. It's heavy duty and was easy to install. Very good product. I highly recommend

A Very Good Bike Stand
This is a very nice stand, especially for the money. I have one on my Specialized Turbo Levo Carbon and after trying a couple of other stands, it was the only one that properly worked and was the correct size. I read not to install a stand on a Carbon frame as it can possibly crush the frame member if you screw it on too tight. You just have to be careful not to over tighten and just snug the clamp and you should be fine. I've never had any problems. This stand doesn't rattle about either--I rarely notice that it is there. But I will tell you people, it sure beats lying the bike on the ground or up against something where it can easily fall. For all you die-hard, fanatical mountain bikers who are always trying save an ounce or two, having a reliable bike stand is too convenient not to have.

Well built and designed.
Bolted it on to a very heavy e-bike and it works great. Sturdy enough to handle the weight. Clamps on to the chainstay nicely, no issues with it moving or loosening up. Adjustable length is easy and helpful to get the bike tilt right. Buying another one for second bike.

Rotates
Relatively easy to install. Feels relatively stout. My problem with the kickstand is it rotates on the bar it is clamped around. I installed it on an eBike which is probably heavier than your typical bike. I have tightened it about as much as I feel comfortable as I don’t want to strip the threads. I’m going to remove it and put some double-sided gorilla tape on both halves of the kickstand clamp and see if that keeps it from rotating.Update: double sided gorilla tape did not solve the rotation problem. I ended up drilling and threading a hole in the kickstand. I then drilled an indentation in the bar on the bike. I installed a screw and into the drilled/threaded hole and tightened it into the indentation on the bike. Problem solved - the kickstand does not rotate any longer and holds the bike steady. Seemed like a lot of work but I liked the kickstand and could not find a suitable replacement.

Screw head snapped off after ONE use!
How cheap could these screws be, seriously? After one use (no joke, one use by an 11 year old), the kickstand was hanging off and my son saw the screw fly across the garage. The kickstand itself seemed very sturdy and I was very happy until this happened! I researched several kickstands and settled on this one because of positive reviews. This one was even more expensive than comparable kickstands but I wanted to spend more for “quality”.Seems like there are plenty of other users who have experienced the same issue. What a shame to ruin the overall quality of a product with cheap hardware.Because the actual kickstand seems of good quality, I’ll just have to head to the orange logo hardware store and hope they have the screw I need. One whose head won’t fall off. What a pain.
