I have tried several cushions and have not been happy, but this one is so comfortable. The design of this one is perfect for my back and tailbone and helps with my sitting posture. I can feel a difference when I sit on it. It takes the pressure off immediately. It’s very well made, very sturdy, has a non skid bottom to keep it in place, and the cover is removable for washing. I have one for home and one for the car. I commute to work so this makes my drives more comfortable.

We eat dinners in the family room while watching a movie and sit on an old couch with a coffee table that raises to table height. I am 77 years old and sitting on the worn and flattened cushions of the couch was causing pain in my hips so that it was difficult to walk for a bit when I got up from the couch. By the end of a 2-hour movie, my legs were uncomfortable, beginning to ache, and felt like the blood supply was cut off from them because the couch cushion flattened so that the frame of the couch was hitting the back of my thigh.Since we haven't found time to get out to find a replacement couch, I turned to Amazon to find a temporary solution. I ordered this "butt cushion" in addition to 4 others in hopes that one of them would relieve the discomfort of sitting on our couch. I wanted something firm enough to overcome the flattening of the old couch cushions, but, it trying the different cushions, I found that shape and size is also important. Since I weigh 112 lbs., most of the cushions I ordered were firm enough, but the support offered by each was different. Some flattened after a short time, and some just weren't very comfortable because of the shape.This cushion is more expensive than the others I tried, but saving money at the expense of less comfort wasn't an option. I have been using this cushion every night for over a week, and no longer have the hip pain when I get up from the couch. The leg discomfort is also gone. The 4 other cushions have been returned. Since I weigh 112 lbs., I can't vouch for how this cushion would hold up to more weight, but it works for me and I am happy with it.UPDATE 07/30/24:I have been using this "butt cushion" every evening for at least 3 hours for the last 2 months, and I wouldn't want to do without it. In this time, it has not flattened at all, is very supportive, and perfectly fits the contour of my butt and thighs so I no longer get pains in my hips and legs from sitting on our old couch. You would think that finding a suitable cushion to sit on would be an easy task. In my experience of trying different cushions, I found that the perfect cushion is a very personal thing. Not only does it have to supply a comfortable firmness for support, but it must conform to your individual "butt contour". It is often necessary to try more than one to find the one that is perfect for you. This cushion is all that for me.UPDATE 12/16/24:I have now been using this cushion on my couch to sit on for over 6 months. It is still as supportive as it was when new, and has not flattened at all. Since using it, I have not had pains in my hips or legs after sitting on the couch. The cushion is so comfortable, we have put off getting a new couch. I suppose this is the only down side to having a comfortable cushion to sit on.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I found the cushion to be quite comfortable. It was a little more firm than I expected but I do feel relief from the pressure on my lower back so I can’t complain. In reality the firmness is desired to ensure functionality and longevity of the cushion. The shape of it was perfect for me. Almost as if it had been custom made. I would have given it 5 stars but I did have a small complaint in the quality of the liner on the cushion. Whether it was forcibly packaged into the small bag it came in within the box or perhaps the way they folded it in half for shipping, but there was a small tear in the liner along the seem on the front side when I pulled it out of the packing and unfolded it. Not that it can’t be quickly fixed with some minor hand sewing, but for those who don’t have this skill it might be disappointing to see. Perhaps including an additional complimentary liner for the cushion considering the price? All in all it is a nice cushion and very comfortable. A bit too expensive, perhaps. But it is high quality in my opinion.

This is a game changer for me. Work had us go back into office full time and sitting in the cheap office chair was hurting my butt and making my legs numb. With this it's like a complete 180. I weigh about 330 lbs and it holds my weight comfortably and doesn't completely smush down when sitting on it for extended amounts of time. No issues with it slipping out from under me either. I will say if you are on the larger side, before you buy the back support one as well, make sure your chair is large enough to hold both. When I use both together, the seat on my chair is too short and I would be sitting on the edge of the chair instead. When I switched to a semi larger chair I had no issues! Not sure about the longitivity of the cushion being worned down, but I will update if any issues arise.

I was a little skeptical about about the price, but I have no complaints. I can now sit for longer periods of time the relief in itself when you first sit down is amazing. My thighs are not fatigue based off the older models, and the memory foam is actually quite firm and wow, this is an amazing Cushion. I wish it came in larger sizes. I will eventually be upgrading it and getting one for my car, however the standard seat cushion it was a little high. I had to lower my seat down to the ground to the lowest setting in order to use it, but still overall so grateful that I ordered this I will probably invest in more of these products.

Purchased for a relative for dialysis.She has to sit maximum 4 hours during procedure and REALLY suffers through it.Received and tried this cushion today.She said it helped improve her ability to tolerate sitting. She said it was tolerable with the cushion up to the last 15mins of the 4hour duration.She is 5'1" and ways approx 230lbs.Jury is still out.Appreciate that it helped with her comfort level but disappointed that its not a total solution and she still had to suffer through thelast 15mins of her treatments.All and all it may be ideal for people who can off set their tailbone pressure points every 1-2 hours...However for those who are bound for constantsitting for long durations, might need to keep looking.$70 is very off-putting. It was worth the effort to try and find a comfortable seat for myrelative but for long duration needs, would ONLY recommend as a last resort.Temporary relief is better than constant pressure and pain with no relief at all.
