🎯 Elevate your aim with a mount that means business
The Ade Advanced Optics Adapter Plate is a precision-engineered red dot mount designed for standard Glock models (17-43), Taurus TX22 Gen 2, and Canik TP9 series. It replaces the rear iron sight dovetail, providing a secure, no-modification platform for popular reflex sights like Vortex Venom and Burris Fastfire. Crafted from aluminum and steel, it guarantees a tight, stable fit that holds zero through extensive use, making it the go-to upgrade for tactical shooters seeking reliable optic integration without the cost of a milled slide.

Sturdy, contoured fit, great mount for trying out a red dot on your pistol.
Fit perfectly on my Glock 19. It contours to the slide for a clean look. I used this to mount a Vortex Venom. Some reviews say the rear sight mount is loose. This was not the case for me. The mount was extremely tight. I did not use a sight pusher, but was barely able to get it installed with a brass punch. It does not slide right in like the videos on youtube. It is very sturdy and a tight fit. I used red lock tight on the mount, and blue lock tight on the screws. For the venom, you will need to use the included screws with the mount, not the ones Vortex provides. The Vortex ones will be too short. No movement after 100 rounds. Great product to try out a red dot on your pistol. It causes no damage and you can choose to keep using it, or invest in a milled slide.

Quality and Value
Machined to fit perfectly. Once installed, it remains solidly attached and works as advertised. Good value and excellent quality apparent from the get go.

Perfect marriage between my Glock 17 and a Vortex Venom
Great base at a great price. The black finish seem durable and matches the G17 slide. I used a rear sight tool for installation and the dovetail plate went in smoothly and firmly. The top adapter cradled the rounded edges of the top of the slide so the base cannot shift over time. The screws went in smoothly and I used blue Locktite to secure them. This fit my Vortex Venom Red Dot perfectly. Just starting to use this and will update later. I would recommend this base, and you can't beat the price.

Didn’t work for me
Not a universal mounting plate, will only work for ade red dots in assuming bc the 4 stabilizer studs in the corner. Ok that’s fine, my mistake but one of the screws wouldn’t catch anyways, so one was tight the other free spinning no matter how hard I pressed in my screwdriver or what angle I took, yet not attached to the slide it would catch. Just weird. They also only sent two of those screws so maybe it was the screw but no extras to replace it with. Chalking this one up to a loss. I have a Taurus g3, unless you’re getting an ade dot then go for something else, picatinny maybe. This was money down the drain for me, not worth the time or shipping costs to send back for a $15 refund. So you sent me crap and took my money, I leave a bad review. It’s that simple.

Well made but check to be 100% that it fits your model pistol
It seems to be well designed however it did not work for my Taurus GX4. It may be good for yours but save time and make sure your exact model is listed.

Looks good and works well on Glock 17
I bought this adapter plate to mount a vortex venom 3 moa red dot onto my Glock 17 Gen 3. As soon as I opened the box I noticed I was missing a site mounting screw . Luckily I was able to use one of the longer screws which had the same 3.5 mm x .6 thread by cutting it down to the10 mm length. I believe I read a review or two that also mentioned a missing or wrong screws. Aside from that the mount is well made and as thin (.157”) as proper function will allow. Fit and finish was spot on and everything lined up perfectly. It’s important to clean all male and female threads to remove the oil preservative before applying Loctite Blue 242 and let it fully cure (24 hrs) before subjecting the fasteners to operational forces. Five stars if I wasn’t missing a mounting screw.

A lot cheaper than a RMR cut slide
I just installed the ADE Glock red dot mounting plate model D1 on my Gen 3 Glock 23 and I’m fairly impressed. I used a sight pusher to take the factory rear sight out of the frame after soaking it in CLP for an hour. The ADE plate has a separate dovetail piece that slides in the slot of the Glock’s frame just like the rear sight. The plate then mounts to the dovetail piece with two Phillips head screws that I recommend using blue locktite on. Your results may vary, but my piece slid freely into the Glock’s slot almost half way. I then used a wooden (non marring) clothespin as a punch and drove the piece in the rest of the way and centered it with some light taps on both ends until it was even. The plate is just slightly wider than the Glock frame so you have a little wiggle room if the piece isn’t perfectly centered. The plate has radiused sides that match the radius of the Glock’s slide so the plate appears thicker in my picture than it really is. I’d say the plate rises above the top of the slide about 4mm. The plate has two threaded holes where the red dot mounts with screws and four indexing pins in the corners that fit my Burris FastFire III perfectly. The ADE mount comes with two different sets of mounting screws and the short set was correct for the FastFire III. Yes, the sight is higher than a slide with a RMR cut, but I don’t want to spend $200 for a slide when this $15 mount will work just fine for me. The only bad thing I can say about it is the finish is definitely not as durable as the Tenifer on the Glock, mine had a very tiny scratch to the bare metal on the edge that I touched up with a Sharpie. The ADE mount is black and matches the FastFire III. Glock’s are really a dark gray so it’s not a perfect match to the gun but there’s so little that shows you can’t really tell. Overall I’m very satisfied with this purchase and will update this review after I’ve put a couple hundred rounds through it to see how it holds zero.
