Handiest adjustable wrench I own...the locking mechanism is very useful
One of my complaints about 'crescent' style adjustable wrenches is that they feel sloppy or become loose on the nut....this looseness makes it difficult to remove nuts and bolts or in worst cases rounds them off....I really like how this thing locks on the nut to better remove nuts or hold them in place like a vise is some situations, the picture shows them locked tightly to a tailgate nut, they are easy to adjust and the threads are smooth acting not rough, seems to be well forged and as strong as any I've had, they look great the fit and finish are better than most the thickness of the grip is the right size to grip well and be easy to use.

Great for on the farm and great function and quality
A very surprising great tool! If you are hesitant to buy this don't be it is sturdy and works great. It is handy to have on the farm when you never know what size wrench you will need and is way better than a normal adjustable wrench it locks and squeeze's the bolt tighter and keeps you from stripping the bolt head.

Much better than the usual adjustable wrench
This wrench neatly solves the main problem with adjustable wrenches: slipping and rounding off nuts. To use this wrench, you tighten the jaws down on the nut as you would with any crescent-type wrench, then pull close the lever on the handle. This clamps the wrench jaws down and locks them incredibly tightly on the flats of the nut. The wrench cannot slip off the nut when turning it, preventing rounding damage to the nut and reducing the chance of skinned knuckles. I like this wrench a lot. It is well built and reasonably priced. It is a worthwhile addition to anyone’s toolbox.

5 Star Product All The Way 👍
The guy with 41 second video doesn't know what he's doing and Amazon needs to remove his review. It came with a nut attached and locked in the jaws to demonstrate the functionality. When you first receive it, you need to unlock it by squeezing the inner longer handle to kick out the shorter outside handle. When you do work, the lock handle should be open, put your jaws around the nut or bolt, then rotate the thumb wheel to move the jaws together as tight as possible to whatever you're trying to grip. Then squeeze the lock handle to keep the moveable jaw from moving out of place. The idea is like securing a car battery tie down without using a split lock washer. You install the first nut like usual, then install another nut tight to it. Then you undo the first nut basically tightening it against the second nut. If you do it right, both nuts would never come off by themselves regardless of road bumps and vibrations. I did some plumbing and it worked and gripped the hex fittings better than pipe wrenches. You can't use it on round pipes obviously so that's where regular pipe wrenches come in. I got mine for less than $13, well worth the money. I saw some other brands for double price. I have the feeling that it's made by Stanley, just from the quality feel of it, and Amazon just put their mocha color paint on it. Maybe someone can back me up on it.

What a great tool!
This might be one of the most useful tools that I've purchased in quite some time!! The locking feature is just awesome! Why couldn't somebody have invented this sooner?!

marginal - nope, it's useless
The one I got had no chrome on the end of the head, so I sent it back for a replacement. Hopefully the replacement will at least be fully chromed. The usefulness of these is quite marginal, but I decided to keep the replacement anyway. The main problem with this tool is the locking action has very little movement. This isn't like a Vise-Grip at all. There is no lever adjustment; only the jaws, like a regular adjustable wrench. The jaws only move 0.5mm or 1/64" from full-lever-open to lever fully locked. So this isn't going to let you get close on the adjustment, then use the lever to bring it in tight. All it will do is tighten an already-snug jaw adjustment. Only 3 stars UPDATE: I got the replacement. Shortly thereafter, I had the opportunity to use this wrench. I needed to remove a brass barbed fitting from a valve. With the lever open, I used the thumbwheel to tighten up the jaws. Then I locked the clamp lever. Super-tight fit on the flats, right? Wrong! When I started pulling the on the wrench, I could feel the jaws starting to slip and round the flats. Fortunately, I stopped before it was too late and I could still get a box-end wrench over the fitting. Nice idea, poor execution. Too much flex. One star now. This is going back.

Works good when used as intended. It is not a vise grip it is an adjustable wrench with the additional feature of locking on to a nut or bolt head. Very useful in situations where you could use an extra hand or you just want to grip more tightly. Of course it will still round off threads of a very stuck bolt, it is not a replacement for a good fitting socket.
