Awesome flashlight for the price!
I work in EMS and bought this flashlight and I am so happy I did. It clips right on my radio strap and the pivoting head allows me to have light handsfree. I bought one for my wife who is also an EMT. Several of my coworkers have since purchased the same flashlight. The multiple light settings come in handy in different situations and the battery life is impressive! Magnetic bottom as well! Can't beat it for the price!

Very bright and functional
Very good value.Strong build quality has a very good magnet for screws or sticking to metal.Battery last a long time the light has 4 settings Max is almost to much for most settings.Small and fits nice in the tool bag. Can swivel to 90 degree which makes it very versatile.

Found the charging port
At first, I could not find the battery charging port till I read in one of the comments online. The battery has a charging port. This works. Now I don't have to return it. Wish the instructions indicated this.

I’ve had these for a few years and it’s the best
I used to use some higher end $50-$80 Olight brand lights, among others. Always problematic, and it came down to their circuitry. I use these Nicrons for automotive work every day, and heavily. I have beat the hell out of them. Dropped them from tall heights onto concrete, left by accident outside during a snow storm, etc. They just keep working. And although the price has come up, I can afford to lose these. I can’t say that about a $100 flashlight. The most important detail, one you haven’t thought of: the pocket clip is reversible. I can clip this to my baseball cap and have a headlight. I do this all the time to free up my hands and put light where I need it. I use this far more often than the magnetic backing.

Bright flashlight with some flaws
So, I finally bit the bullet and bought a flashlight which wasn't the cheapest I could find. To start with, I know to stay away from any flashlight advertised as getting 100,000 lumens. No idea why Amazon doesn't crack down on those sheisters. Is this 1,000 lumens? I really don't know, but it's definitely a lot brighter than my last flash light, advertised as 3,000 lumens but is probably 300 lumens. So, for that, it is very good. So why am I only giving this three stars, and why will I likely return it? Well, these are kind of nitpicky things that don't fit my use case. First, there is no zoom, second, the power button is hard to find and doesn't feel very accessible, which is a big downside when trying to juggle a dog leash, poop, bag, and flashlight at the same time, and three, the thing lots of people complain about, the rotating head is just way too loose. If these three things don't bother you, then I think you'll really like this little flashlight.

You have to take the battery out to charge it.
It’s bright and completely waterproof. I use it for work and I dropped it in a bucket of water while fixing some pipes under a sink and I rinsed it off and it’s like nothing happened. Shut off and turned right back on. It comes with extra seals for the battery cover. You do have to take the battery out to charge it. I’m assuming for max water resistance. Been using it for months now and it’s dropped off ladders plenty of times and not even a flicker when it drops. I got this because my other swivel light broke but I’m reality if it can pivot it can snap. This feels sturdy and not too much play. You can get 18650 batteries for this. But you have to take the battery out and plug the battery into a micro usb that’s on the side of the batt. Almost the perfect design. Has all the strobe features and you have to hold the button down for 2 seconds so it won’t just come on in your pocket. Magnet battery cover and it’s pretty strong.
