As the weather warmed, spiders began to appear in my bedroom...over my head...while I was trying to sleep. The stuff of horror movies, right? I doused my room with pest spray, but the spiders were undaunted. I sprayed the actual spiders with pest spray formulated to target spiders on contact...and the spiders were still undaunted. I stopped sleeping in my room out of paranoia, especially after I caught a spider dangling over my comforter as I was drifting off to sleep. For me, the situation was dire, and I became absolutely desperate. I don't know how, but these plug-ins work. They really, really work. Just 1 can cover a 120 sq ft room. Ever since I put this in my room, the spider problem has completely remitted, and I can sleep comfortably in my bed again. I can't believe this plug-in outperforms Raid and Orkin, but in my case, this is the truth. I am so thankful to have these.

I have a small one plugged in in my kitchen and I seriously have no flies. I keep one plugged in out in a small storage shed - no bugs. I live in the desert where bugs abound especially during the monsoon season. So glad I have these.

Bought two boxes of these. Figured it would rid some rooms of bugs, mainly spiders and centipedes. Plugged the units in and they turned on as expected. However, bugs were still observed crawling near the units! Especially spiders. You are better off using regular insect traps such as sticky strips, fly traps, bug spray, or even your trusty shoe. This product may work on certain species in certain areas of the country but in my area, the product had no affect whatsoever. Insect species may look alike externally but it's where they live that determine their strength. A spider in Florida and a spider in Maine may both look the same, but it's their internal makeup, nervous system, life experience per the areas in which they live, which determines their strength. Various regions such as cold, hot, dry, humid, all contribute to an insects overall survival and adaptation. Further, if the area in which you live is in a major city or near one, there's already a vast amount of frequencies in which the insects have become immune or adapted to which further renders this product useless. In the rural farmlands areas where there's minimal radio waves, microwaves, etc, this product may work best. It just didn't work for me as I live in a city environment.

It does not help with ants which is why I bought it. I haven't had any problems with spiders, mice or stink bugs though. *edited* today is July 30, the units have been plugged in since purchase and I still have ants everywhere. Even crawling next to the outlet I have one of these plugged in to.

These seemed to function. However, I'm not convinced sonic pest control claims are legitimate. I put them in every room in the house, including in the attic. Since installing them several months ago I have caught 4 mice. All in the kitchen, and I put the big sonic trap in there. I'm going to continue to use them anyway. When spring returns I'll put two in the kitchen and see if they really work. In the mean time I have the regular spring loaded mechanical mouse traps, and two live traps in the kitchen. I will say this. The ants ignored the sonic traps. I had to use the traditional ant traps to do away with them. They'll be back. So I'm NOT impressed with this sonic pest control scheme. One other thing though. Perhaps my mice are different, because they did steal the bait off the mechanical traps three times. So, I glued the darn peanuts halves onto the trap trigger so they had to work at it to get the peanut half. That works.

They work very well a sound the pest hear distracts them and puts them to rest forever. I brought them years ago and believe they still work the flashing red light indicates it working.
