Great for controlling smell of your flower!
Helps control smell A LOT. Highly recommend for anyone that’s trying to be more careful or discreet very helpful for smoking indoors or if you live in any non smoking areas, apartments, hotels etc. Only downside is limited uses, you will probably need a new one after a month or so if you’re using it regularly.

Surprisingly Effective
Don't hesitate getting this if you need to tone down the odor of whatever you may be smoking. Smoke goes in, nearly odorless smoke-free air comes out. I am amazed.

good for the most part
I like the idea of a filter to minimize smoke, but I'm not a fan of the one use and done. What I mean is when the filter needs to be replaced, you have to purchase a whole new smoke buddy instead of replacing just the filter.I think they are good for around 3000 uses. This wooden looking smoke buddy is my second one. I got my first smoke buddy, which was orange, from a local retail shop for almost 3 times the amount of money I spent on this one. I wanted the wooden one cuz it's a unique color for the things. The wooden color is simply a wrap like what you might find on a BIC cigarette lighter. Mine was black with the wooden wrap around it. I understand why they have to use a wrap, but I'm not a fan those things. They end up peeling off on lighters a lot of the time and I expect that will happen at some point on this wooden smoke buddy. So right there alone, I'm not sure if this wooden smoke buddy is worth the extra couple bucks over the solid colored smoke buddys. My first smoke buddy, originally, was hard to blow through. But it did a great job of absorbing almost all the smoke I was exhaling. Then after a couple of months, something happened (leaving it outside on my porch during a freezing night maybe?, reached my 3000 exhales through it?), and it suddenly became really easy to blow through it and it didn't seem to absorb the same amount of smoke as it was when it was harder to blow through. I thought it was because maybe the glue (if there is any) used to keep the filter in place inside its' plastic housing maybe froze and broke its bonding free and was suddenly a gap that allowed my smoke to go thought it, therefore, not allowing the filter to be the main exit pathway for the smoke being forced through it anymore. But then my friend and brother ordered a few+1 of these after trying mine out, and they got mixed results out of the gate on how hard it was to blow through. 1 out of the 4 total they ordered between the 2 of them was hard to blow to begin with (3 were the standard size like the one I got here and 1 was the key chain filter). My wooden looking one I just got is already easy to blow through and it doesnt absorb any more smoke than my now probably 9 month old orange smoke buddy. So I don't know if they are easy to blow through, does that mean they aren't going to absorb as much smoke? When can we tell when it's time to get a new one? Should they be hard to blow through or not hard to blow through when they are new? Nonetheless, this is a good idea and I'm happy someone out there came out with these things. Maybe if they included a guide or directions on what to expect when the filter is all used up or expired or something, then we can know more of what to expect when it's time to replace it. Would be 5 out of 5 if the filter was replaceable and if there was consistency on how hard they are to blow through when they are new.

No smoke. No smell
Grate .. no smoke no smell. I smoke in the basement away from my family and recently the smell has been too much to take wake people out of their sleep. Bought this and as long as keep your lips suctioned to it when you're blowing in there's no smoke no smell. the only downfall I'd have to say is that instead of me having to buy filter to replace it I'm going to have to buy a whole new one but at what I paid for I think it's been 14 15 bucks on it definitely worth buying another one don't know how it's going to last how long it's going to last just got it but we'll see .just wouldn't let any of your friends use it if they have shity breath because then you're going to have your s*** smelling like ass.

Works great
Pleasantly surprised. It actually works. Just quickly inhale then exhale again after initial exhale to blow through it twice to make sure all the smoke goes through the filter and doesn't sit in the chamber opening.

Doesn’t help with ganja odor.
I bought this to reduce the smell of mary jane, however, even when being careful not to let excess smoke escape the bowl, etc. it still didn’t make a huge difference. Garage didn’t look smoky, but my garage still smelled like that sticky sweet goodness the next afternoon (24 hrs later). If you’re thinking of getting this to mask herb smell, this is not your solution. For eliminating visible smoke, this is pretty dang cool. Does a great job hiding the cloud (if you’re at a concert or trying to be sneaky). Well made, cool look (I got the wood-look).

There is a lot of fake out there BUT this one is a good real one Works great for any smoke as long as all the smokes goes through the filter

Solía ser heavy smoker de la lechuga magica y siempre hizo su trabajo, dura de 2 a 3 meses, hasta mas si no eres fumador cronico.

I bring this bad boy to a few places when I would like to smoke my stuff discreetly and it works perfectly! There has been times when someone has pulled up to my car and have no idea that I have been smoking. The smell and smoke have been diffused entirely. Also, it looks great with the wood-wrapper design and is really convenient for bringing to places. I personally love the Smoke Buddy and highly recommend it to anyone who seems interested!

Works kinda well. From the other reviews it seems that you need a new one every month or so. For myself I just began noticing the drop in smoke retainment making it clear that a new one will be needed. That said, it did do the job. I wish they had replaceable filters would make more sense than having to buy a whole new one every two months seems like for me. At best it takes away 95% of the smell and smoke then decreases to 80% in a couple weeks if you're an avid smoker.
