Great weight and great capacity. Fits nicely in your hand and does not slip out of your hand. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

I got tired of glasses breaking at home because of slight contacts with other items. I then noticed the heavy duty glasses they had at a local restaurant. I went on to Amazon and found these. They are exactly like the ones from the restaurant. They are more of a heavy weight glass. Simple dings against counters or other dishes will not cause them to break. A little more money than the thin ones, but not in the long run.

Disclaimer: I have not had these long, so I can't speak to breakage or to how long they'll last. These are awesome everyday glasses. They are nice and tall, and hold the right amount of iced water, soda, tea, etc. I purchased the 12 oz. rocks glasses at the same time, and the two sizes complement each other really well. I happen to like the look, which is pretty utilitarian, like glasses in a really nice diner. While they feel nice and heavy in the hand, they do feel a bit awkward, as if they're not weighted properly. I haven't had one tip over yet, so maybe it's an irrational fear. Altogether, a solid choice in everyday glassware.

I bought a smaller set of these previously and was very happy with them. This is a classic design that they came out with a number of years ago. However it looks great today! Sturdy glass that has the appropriate amount of heft without becoming bulky or too heavy. Durable because of the thicker base. These come in several sizes. I have the 10 oz. size that I use for orange juice and these which are 16 oz for iced tea, soda and water. A great product and not too expensive.

These glasses look nice and feel nice. However I’ve had them for just under one year and I’ve had to throw away six out of 12 so far as the rim pops off in 1-1/2” long length's in the dishwasher. No Good!

We bought a set of these same glasses at Costco, which included some of the 16-oz size and the shorter cocktail glass size in that set. We used them for 3 years or more, daily, putting them in the dishwasher repeatedly, and never had a even a chip occur. They are heavy/thick glasses, that do not easily tip, nor chip/break easily, which we love, and we appreciate the taller size for iced drinks. Unfortunately we accidently broke several of the tall glasses all at once in a mishap, and we were left with just a few for us to continue using. (I didn't want a different type...I loved those particular glasses!) We looked at Costco and other places trying to replace them, to no avail. After searching Amazon... voilaaaa! There they were! Not only the very same glasses, but they were a complete set of just the tall 16-oz size (Even more perfect, as we didn't need, nor often use the shorter set!) We are very happy to have our fav glasses back to use. They are a good value, and very durable, and we think pretty as well. They arrived in a timely manner, in great condition.
