This is the quietest garage door opener that I've ever owned. Installation was easy and instructions were very clear. I really love the tech advantages that Chamberlain has made. All the remotes were easy to install, love the phone app that you can use to open/close the door with, get status etc. Well worth the money for this product. I will definitely be bragging to all my friends and relatives about this product, thanks......

This unit has features that provide convenience and security. I have three doors with similar openers. With my iphone, these openers alert me when they cycle. I can see door status and operate them remotely. With many years of using these internet based features I find they are rock steady with almost no system down time.With the battery backup feature DC drive motors are employed and they have acceleration at initiation and completion of the cycles. The motor slowly starts and nearing the end of a cycle, it slows down so there is no start stop jerking. They are extremely quiet. If there is a power failure, the doors still operate. Using provided transmitters, vehicle Homelink or the outside button pad I can gain access to my house even without utility power. The light is bright internal LED.On the negative side, this unit replaces a similar Chamberlain opener made in 2015 which intermittently failed to remember the open/close stops resulting in failure to close. Reprogramming the stops restored function for a few days and then the failure returned. Based on the high cost of a replacement main board, I opted to buy this new opener. So for you math lovers a life span of 7 years equates to about $40/year to own one of these. (I have three).If you want the internet intelligence and do not want to buy a new opener, Chamberlain makes a kit that adds that functionality to a non-smart opener. (Chamberlain MyQ Wi-Fi Smart Garage Door Hub - Model Number MYQ-G0302) I have one of these kits and it integrates into the myQ app perfectly.As far as Alexa integration, I looked at that and it appears convoluted so I didn't lose a lot of time on it.I expected more than 7 years life from my previous unit and hope for 10-15 with the new one. However, in my experience more complexity breeds higher failure rates but buzzers and bells thrill me so I will live with that.

Quiet, easy to connect to wifi, etc But, rail is 6” too short for our standard 92” high door. Even with removing the safety stop and opening to with ¾” of motor housing, bottom of door is just below opening instead of above it. Our other 3 openers (2 Liftmasters and 1 Genie) all open fully. No way to discern this with product description or before fully installed. Aggravating.

I replaced my 25 years old Craftsman 1/2 HP (the belt was about to break) with Chamberlain B4613T garage door opener. The new garage door opener was installed mostly without a hiccup, except that the diameter of the supplied Clevis Pin 5/16" X 1 was larger than the receiving hole on the Trolley. So I had to use the old garage door opener Clevis Pin instead to attach the Straight Door Arm to the Trolley. The new opener operated very quiet, smooth, stable and assuredly. Especially, the square-tube rail appeared more rigid and resisted better to rattles while opening and closing. Also, liked the bright LED light and battery-backup features very much. Also, like the myQ app smart feature. I am very happy with the product and certainly recommend to others.

Make sure you search for the Paw Paw’s Workshop video on YT and watch it in combination with the Bilt instructions. If you do, you shouldn’t have any problems installing it; just make sure you have two people because it’s easier.

Do not buy this opener nor any opener from Chamberlain ever. They are not an honorable company. The unit worked for about 3 months, then the sensors repeatedly malfunctioned, and all customer service did was stall, stall, stall, refusing to replace the unit or send replacement parts until my warranty expired. Meanwhile, because I hired someone to install it, I had to pay an additional $300 in repeated service calls, plus the $300 to have it installed and the initial $240 for the unit — over $800 totally wasted. And now I’m spending another $800 to replace it! This time, I’m broke but wiser. I’m buying a different brand of opener directly from the installer who will warranty it for 5 years himself. Shame on you, Chamberlain.
