Toupret Glazing Putty 1kg

This is good stuff, especially for a novice!! I was using a linseed one before and I was getting in a heck of a mess with it. A carpenter/window maker I know recommended me to use this instead and it is SO easy to use (a dream to use really). I re-glazed all the panes in my old sash window and I managed to make a half decent job of it as well. Would recommend and will use again.

Quite expensive but a premium product and I was able to apply paint sooner than conventional linseed oil putty

It's white... So you don't need to paint it.. straight away...and that's it... otherwise putty is better

not sticky like linseed can be. Its very user friendly and easy to put on. Does take about 3 weeks to cure. Less if window is in full sun. Pricey compared to linseed putty.

The very best putty I’ve ever used !

I am certainly no expert in putty, proven by the fact that I initially bought a cheap one, assuming putty was putty. But that was awful, and this is great. It does the job really well, is easy to roll and put in place without getting it everywhere. It is low odour, and the tin keeps it nicely. If I ever need more this is what I'll be buying.

At first I was a little concerned that this putty was too soft and it said on the tin that it stays workable indefinitely but thankfully after a week it did finally go off enough to tidy up. At least the birds won't eat this stuff.

My go to glazing putty. Have tried others but always regret and go back to this.
