I bought this for my 4yr old son's birthday because he wanted a blue robot remote control car. This is apparently exactly what he wanted. Although he did say it was black, once the robot popped up, he was happy to see that it's armor was mostly blue.The car itself is made of plastic, but is quite durable. My son's car sustained a fall off of our kitchen table. The robot's head came off but that was easy to pop back on. I'd recommend super gluing it on if you have small children or pets. I sincerely doubted the car's ability to climb/drive on the wall and I was mistaken. It works great, even on a textured wall. Great you for the price. Your kids will be happy.

Worked fine on the floor but not on the walls or ceiling!! If I had known that, i would have purchased a regular RC car!
