My new favorite winter boots.
Absolutely adore these boots!!! I have wider calves and was worried about the fit, but they’re perfect! The quality is amazing too. These are without a doubt my favorite winter boots ever!! They’re well structured with the softest interior. Super warm and comfy while still being stylish! I usually wear a 9.5 and ordered a 10, perfect fit for sure. They aren’t heavy or bulky at all like some brands.

These are not fake! Comfortable, good fit, good looking, authentic, quality
Reviews are important to me - I scour them to determine if I will buy. I am writing this review because of others that I read that were not accurate. I already have a pair of these boots in the camel color and I love them. They fit me perfectly, are warm, comfortable, cute and authentic. I think I got them at Macy's last year. I wanted another pair in black this year. When I read the reviews, I was discouraged. They talked about bad fit, not authentic (not real Uggs, fake) and a host of other complaints including packaging. I thought maybe because there are so many vendors and how will I know what I get? So I did an experiment. I bought them here and I bought real Uggs at Nordstrom for $100 more. (Remember I already had some from Macy's.) Here are my results: The difference between Koolaburra and real Uggs is noticeable. Koolaburra is not as plush, the "fur" is not as thick and cushiony and the sole is not as thick. However, I knew that going into it, that's why they are $100 cheaper. The pair I received from Amazon were the same quality as Macy's from last year. They were well packaged and just as authentic as the pair I had. In fact they were better packaged than the Uggs I got from Nordstrom and arrived in 2 days vs. 2 weeks. They were good quality and comfortable and exactly the fit I was expecting. (BTW, I wear a 8.5 in most shoes unless they are whole size and then I normally get a 9. In this case I got an 8 like before because they are wide, stretch out and I wear them barefoot.) Further, I purchased a pair of Uggs from Amazon and from Nordstrom, exact same design. They were identical when they arrived. Same authenticity, fit, quality, etc. Again, Amazon's boots were packaged better (I felt they probably came right from Ugg vs. the Dept. Store). Additionally, I bought a separate pair of Uggs from Nordstrom to see the difference in style - because ultimately I was looking for something in particular. My choices narrowed down to the Koolaburra and the thicker traditional Ugg. The traditional won for only one reason - I didn't like the look of the tan sole on the Koolaburra - which is total preference having nothing to do with quality. The traditional Ugg was black all the way, which is what I wanted. What I gave up was the very cute design of the Koolaburra down the sides - love that. What I gained from the traditional Ugg was the look and extra plush feeling - but that choice cost me $100 more. Bottom Line: Make your choice based on your preference of how it looks, feels and your pocketbook (cost). Do not worry that these are not as good or authentic. It's all about what you lose/gain when comparing styles.

Cute, Warm and Sturdy but not for ice/snow/terrain
These are really comfy and did not take too long to break in. I use these for walking outdoors and typically I would use this type of boot year round as I am up in the mountains and they are not too warm. THESE are really warm - so they will be for the colder months only. If you need warmth, these are the ones for you. They keep your entire foot and lower leg roasty toasty. If you need serious soles for serious terrain and slippery weather conditions, these are NOT the ones. These are not snow and ice boots. I am very glad I got these because they are very well made and the soft warm lining really cannot be underestimated here. Not sure how durable they will turn out to be, but they do seem to be pretty sturdy. And they are also rather cute - so that's a bonus.

Try the Kookaburra by Ugg.
So very comfortable! I wear a 91/2 and ordered a 10. They fit perfectly! They were delivered beautifully, double boxed with cardboard to keep the awesome shaped. I love the Kookaburra brand by Ugg.

THESE ARE NOT FAKE
If you don’t want to read my long review: I contacted Ugg and Koolaburra and these are REAL. They are extremely cute, comfy and comparable to original Uggs. I own both. The shaft is slightly tighter on these than Uggs. First off I own several pairs of Ugg’s purchased from Nordstrom. I saw these and thought they were adorable so I decided to go with a size 8. All my other uggs are in size 7. These are a little big but the shaft is smaller in these Koolaburra at the top than normal uggs so I needed the size 8. I called Ugg and they confirmed these are genuine Koolaburra Uggs! I wish people would stop scaring others and saying they are fake when no research has been done! They changed the boot slightly and some people may have the older model. This is ridiculous that someone would claim they are fake without even contacting the company and asking! The ones I purchased were through the seller Zappos and they do NOT sell fake shoes! Come on y’all! Don’t say they are fake if they look slightly different or you just THINK they are. Contact the company and ask questions before you write a review scaring people and confusing people! Anyways like I said I have other Uggs (this is my first Koolaburra) and the quality on these Koolaburra is wonderful! The only difference to me is there is faux fur on the inside and uggs have the genuine shearling. The little bit of fur that sticks out on the outside of the Koolaburra is apparently genuine sheep. The suede on both Ugg’s and Koolaburra feels the same to me. The comfort is the same to me. As mentioned unfortunately the shaft is a little tighter on the top of the Koolaburra than normal Uggs so I went a size up. I have a slightly larger calf. The foot and ankle area is a tad big but it’s fine. If you have skinny/normal legs you should probably stick with your normal Ugg size. If you have bigger calves like me you may want to go up one from your normal Ugg size. For reference I can wear anywhere between a size 7-8 and I got these in an 8. Normal uggs in a 7. Bottom line they are absolutely precious and just as comfy as regular Uggs in my opinion! I sprayed them with water proofing spray. If you are looking to buy these because the normal Uggs are too expensive, yes BUY THEM! As someone who has both I will be sticking with Koolaburra from now on!

Quality boots, worth every penny!
So far I have always used cheap non-branded boots. And I didn't enjoy wearing any of them. They were not sturdy & comfortable enough. This is the 1st time I purchased an almost Ugg because there was a deal on them. I paid only $55. And I am very happy with my purchase. They are super comfy, sturdy & very cute boots. I wear a size 8M and they fit like gloves. They are medium sized boots which I loved. Not so tall, not so mini. The bow designs look really cute in real. I love everything about these boots. Hope it can last many years of NYC winter! Highly recommend
