Snap-On 870341 Tool and Cable Trunk Bag

We purchased this as a Christmas present for our soon to be daughter-in-law. It appears to be ruggedly made to withstand years of use and abuse. It has seven(7) pockets on the inside where you can hold smaller items such as a pen flashlight, wrench, screwdrivers, etc. They are approximately an inch and 1/2 wide and seven inches deep. On the other side (inside compartment) there is a zippered compartment with a mesh see through lining. This could be used for medical necessities like band-aids, tape and such. There are also three(3) outside pockets for a variety of items you would need to be handy, like gloves or a flashlight. On the other side, there is a zippered pouch that is red in the pictures. This case can hold a 20 foot 2AWG booster cable set with some room to spare. The handles are a rugged material that should last a lifetime of use. The stitching is substantial as you can see in some of the photographs. I would recommend this to a friend or family member if asked. See the photographs for more information.

I purchased this for my 2 Gauge 25 Ft Length Jumper Cables and they fit with no problem. I liked this so well that I purchased a 2nd bag to also hold my 2nd set of Jumper cables for my SUV too!. The case is made well and there are also exterior pouches to hold my tire gauge, small flashlight, small ice scraper and a pair of gloves. I also like the sporty look and feel like this bag should hold up well. There are also slots on the inside but if you carry a larger set of jumper cables there is minimal space to hold additional items inside unless they are relatively small. This however is not a problem for me since my main reason for purchase of the bag was for my Jumper Cables. Great purchase for me!

When I first received this bag, the first thing that caught my attention was the quality of construction. This is a well designed and well put together tool bag. After reading reviews of other cable bags, I was very apprehensive about it meeting my needs - specifically, its ability to contain my newly purchased heavy duty #2 gauge 25-feet jumper cables. Much to my delight, the cables fit into the bag like it was custom built for them. No muss, no fuss. This is a heavy duty bag which I expect will outlive me, and it makes my trunk space look well organized and clean. Great piece of equipment at a great price.

I like this battery cable bag. It's a high quality product, well-made, looks good, easy to carry, and has several tool pockets. My battery cables are long and just a little difficult to stuff into this bag, compared the last bag that wore out. This bag may loosen up with use. I would recommend this product.

Nice bag but too small for 25' 1-gauge jumper cables. Buy this bag for that heavy duty jumper. Bucket Boss AB30070 Cable Bag.

No where on this listing is there a disclaimer that this product will cause cancer, yet it is clearly printed on an attached info card. The directions also state that you should thoroughly wash your hands after handling. I'm not sure how they expect us to wash our hands if we have a dead battery while camping or are away from any local areas to wash our hands. If anything, we may have hand sanitizer on hand, but I don't think that will suffice here. If anything, this will make things inconvenient unless you had some rubber gloves to handle it with.I'm not sure I would want to own a tool bag that is made with these chemicals in which I have to be very careful to handle everytime. There are plenty of non cancer causing tool bags out there.Amazon should make it a policy to require this disclaimer on their affected products.

I expected a more heavy duty bag from Snap-on. Material is lightweight, zippers are light duty, and single stitched seams. It has just enough room for jumper cables inside, but not much more. There are no flaws that I found with the product, but I don't believe it will be as durable as expected.

Every EV owner needs an extension chord for their electric baby just in case the charging station is blocked and a little extra cord length is needed. No extra cubbies that will fit the extension in the back of my Volt, so I needed a case, preferably round and 3-4 inches thick. This one is perfect...and looks good, too!
