I wish zero was a star option. Look, anyone that honestly reviews this with any positivity could not possibly own one. THE SANDWICH POCKETS ARE NOT DEEP ENOUGH!!! It smashes everything so tight it pushes the cheese out, it’s junk. I literally even tried to use tortilla shells and no. Did it work, sure, it toasted, it melted, made a mess, crappy sandwiches. My black and decker broke after 15 years of loving abuse, bought this one because ya know, who could eff up a sandwich maker…well I’ll certainly be looking for a better brand now.

I took off one star because the handle broke within the first week I had it. I've made some really yummy sandwiches with it. It's easy to use and cleans easily. I would recommend toasting your bread before you make the sandwich because in my experience, the bread would get soggy from the inside out. Toasting the bread helped. One of my favorites to make is with apple slices and brown sugar cinnamon butter (1 stick butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon). Butter the outside of the toast too because it makes a nice carmelizing effect and the instructions say a little sugar on the outside helps with crispiness.

This sandwich maker is a good product overall and very practical for quick meals. We make delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, tuna melts, and even omelets in no time. I love its compact design, which takes up minimal counter and cabinet space - perfect for my small kitchen.However, I was disappointed with the sturdiness of the material. After just two weeks of use, the device broke, which was frustrating. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent! They promptly replaced it, which I really appreciated.While it’s a convenient and good item, I hope the durability improves in future versions.

When I was a teenager, we used to have one of these sandwich makers and I have not seen them since. I decided when I saw it this year for Christmas that I needed to get one for my teenagers. So far my son has made grilled cheese sandwich and a spaghetti sandwich. It works very easily and it toast the bread perfectly. On this one there’s even a little green light which tells you when your bread is perfectly toasted and ready to be removed. You can choose either leave the sandwich together or pull it apart very easily. If this is a great sandwich maker.

This is exactly what I expected, and while the construction feels a bit on the cheaper end, it does its job well. One of the best parts about it is that food hasn't started sticking to it at all. I expect I'll need to season it at some point, but I've cooked many "grilled" cheese sandwiches with this thing, with cheese spilling out the sides, and after letting it cool, the cheese and crumbs fall right off, making it easy to clean with nothing more than a wet paper towel. Happy with this purchase! Though it's definitely worth noting that's in large part due to the price. You get what you pay for, and the construction of this product definitely feels like it's from the lower price range.
