Update- I had a mascara emergency recently ( I lost it while applying in the car, stoped, of course) or it fell out of the car for the walk of tardy shame for kid 2….it was a run into Walgreens and I didn’t want to spend a ton for what I may find later. Welcome to my life Wet n wild in the purple tube (waterproof over my primer), it has the same brush, I still poked myself in the eye, but I could tell no difference. Price tag, under $3 on sale. Zero flaking, zero smudge. Never did I think I would love a $3 mascara. Maybe fresher than this one? IDK. I may just have been converted.Original/First I will say that I am a total mascara snob, I do not go ANYWHERE without mascara on. I have used Lancôme for 20+ years and any time I found the “next greatest” mascara and tried it I was so disappointed.I read lots of reviews and could hardly believe that THIS product could be this amazing. I expected a good mascara but nothing that blew me away. I was so wrong! The first time I tried it my lashes looked amazing! I have long and very thick lashes so many mascaras clump the lashes together, even my beloved Lancôme. The ones that do not clump do not seem to produce any noticeable results.THIS mascara not only gave perfect coverage from root easily to tip, it is a perfect level of thickness. There is NO CLUMPING! I have used it over my Lancôme primer just because I find that I get less under the eye mascara as the day progresses. However when I haven’t the lashes still look long, thick and defined.And it is absolutely the best single cosmetic product I have ever used! The brush took a few tries to really feel like I got it, but making sure the very tip is wiped is key to a random blob on my lid. I admit that having used different brushes for so long that I stabbed myself in the eye the first time I used it but that was entirely my fault.I also have always used a waterproof mascara, in heat and humidity it just stays better, however this has amazing staying power. I often fall asleep without removing makeup, but this is still looking great when I get up and is easily removed by my usual facial cleanser. I have not needed eye makeup remover.This was by far the best purchase I have made in a long time. Everyone needs to try this!!!I will add pictures if I can to the review.Edit- I am now on maybe my 4th tube (the first one is still pretty “fresh” and have tried a few others since buying this (ok, I’m obsessed with mascara!) AND given this as gifts multiple times and this still is by far the best mascara I’ve ever used. I have not gotten the waterproof version even though that is normally what I would go with because this one stays put so well.Seriously not sure how it is so inexpensive. Love it and everyone I have given this to has then ordered it.

I ordered it initially and got a package that was purchased and returned. It was basically empty but sealed so well the seller may not have realized it. I initiated a return. It was so inexpensive it wasn't worth returning.The seller quickly shipped me a replacement. 5 stars for the vendor who operated in good faith and for the product. This is my favorite mascara! Works great. Doesn't clump and isn't sticky. Lengthens and separates my lashes. Will buy again and from this same vendor.

I was so excited to try this because of the reviews... and I did like it a lot - but I can’t say I love it for the price. The color is amazing, it’s the richest blackest black without looking glam shiny black, just jet black ( doesn’t look dry or chalky at all) its a great color. It didn’t flake at all and lasted all day ( 9 hours ) with no smudging etc and washed off easily with coconut oil and face wash. I guess I just wasn’t wowed by the actual look of it. It basically did the same thing as my favorite drug store mascaras, it looked good but didn’t hold the curl like I’d hoped which is a problem I have with any mascara ( could just be my lashes too ) and I really had to build it up and play with it - however I love really dramatic spidery lashes on top. The bottom lashes looked amazing though so if you like a very black more natural look this may be for you. That being said- I usually use 3 different mascaras to achieve the same look I got with only this aside from the fact I can get a little more curl and hold out of Maybellines Spider Lashes, so while I feel $12 is a little high for this - I guess it’s really not considering I usually spend 7-8 per mascara I use and considering I wear 3 different kinds to get my normal look I like it’s really not that bad a price AND I do really love the color more then my others. So all in all I’m giving it 4 stars out of 5 only because for $12 for one mascara I feel like it should hold the curl more and not have to be played with and built up so much ( a good 3-4 coats for me). It also does a really nice job of fanning out your lashes and the brush shape Is perfect for getting all those tiny bottom lashes perfectly. I just got it so I may need to play with it more but I do like it a lot- just not crazy in love just yet but it definitely has potential. Really nice rich black mascara. Not completely holy grail in love but close!

This mascara is PHENOMENAL! I try a lot of different mascara and I’ve been trying to find one that I really love that doesn’t leave big clumps and makes your lashes look amazing. This is it separates, defines, volumizes and lengthens!

Best mascara EVER! Doesn't clump! Dries quickly! Doesn't fleck! Easy to appy! Washes off easily! Bought both Black and brown.Have been using it for several weeks with no issues!

Today i recieved this mascara and i tried it. It gave really good look to my eyes, eyelashes looked really long and beautiful, however i got severe allergy. After removing make up my eyes are very red, sore and itchy.Several years ago i was using this brand and i really liked it before, but i was using different type of mascara. This one i used it first time.When i was putting it, i felt it was little dry, but i thought this is the consistency. I don't know maybe it was old, or this type one just gave me allergy.Now i have to buy something else.

Vey nice product. It has a great brown/ black. Looks more natural but just Enhanced. Didn't flake but did start to smudge a little after hours of wearing. All I did was wipe a little but near under eye lash line... all good. For the price I will by again.

Works great. The reviews were right on. The best part of this mascara is the brush. It applies very easy and smoothly. The brush also separates lashes which is a great help. Highly recommend.
