Perfect for the Christmas Lights
Use for Christmas lights on and off. Nice to set it up and let it do its own thing. Way easy to use. No issues 3 years and going. Small enough to not be noticed in christmas light photos.

Great price and you can plug in 2 sets of lights.
So nice to be able to plug 2 sets of lights into one timer. I hope they hold up over time. 🫰

Good timer
I bought this to control a set of string lights that everybody and their brother seems to have on their patio these days.It has a nice selection allowing you to choose the timer setting you prefer, mine is on dusk to dawn.Sometimes they randomly go dark in the night for a minute and then come back on, maybe I have the photocell placed incorrectly or maybe teenage fireflies are pranking me, I don't know. That being said, they seem to work pretty well and I'd say they are worth the money.

Many uses met expectations
Works great with low voltage lighting transformers

Feature Instructions Unclear (Light Sensitive!) But Trial and Error / Company Videos Helped
First day of use (if in 30 days / a problem occurs, I will try to update my review... I do realize best reviews are often the updated ones). So far VERY happy with remote. Bad parts of remote: it has no keyring hook, and it requires a 23A battery (not included in my package) which may mean you need to go buy it. Likely available because same battery fits many remote controls. Why that size? It's a 12 Volt (more powerful than most small batteries). Why is that good? At least now, with a fully charged 23A, the signal seems to pass through 3 (three!) walls in my home and turn on and off the device! For my purposes, I can overlook the other flaws and am very happy to be able to turn on / off devices from far away. It's ETL listed (I'm going to do some research but I think that's similar to UL listed). Safety is my concern because it's not worth it to have a fire of some sort occur in an area I can't easily see. Also it's instructions didn't seem very clear to me. Biggest thing I did not realize till buying it is that:it seems that if you want to use the TIMER:- you must put it in a vertical position (apparently gravity helps)- they recommend you plug it into a fixed outlet (not an extension cord)- you must put it in a dark room OR wait for dusk OR maybe cover the light sensor! Also, it would seem the timer period is going to be the same each day (unless you manually reset it or buy a fancier model).I don't know if posting the video link is okay but the video I found is on the most popular video site in the world as of 10/4/21. I used search terms: " BN-LINK Outdoor Countdown Timer 2 Outlets with Photocell Light Sensor BND-60 U57". Technically my manual says it's product # BNC-60 /U57R. I bought mine as a refurbished unit (Amazon said it had same return policy - hopefully I never need to find out). I think these models are almost the same in terms of operating instructions. The video I watched was made by the company. For me it helped more than the written instructions.1 star off off due to the instructions / features not making some of the limitations or operating conditions clear. Still way happy so far with this product.I'm still new to my unit, but I did return another lower priced one (which had 2 in a box but seemed to be unclear as to whether it was rated for 15 amps (A) or not). Also, the other brand had several 1 star reviews mention that fires had occurred (and photos to match).Even if it's low likelihood, I want to minimize the risk. This clearly says 15A is okay, and has fewer reports of problems (nothing is perfect so I'm going to be moving flammables / possible flammables away from this). I hope someone finds this helpful.
