So, first things first. It arrived alive and well, it had a little bit of browning, but that is fine, it matched the decor and theme of my tank anyway. I was not expecting it to grow as quickly as it is, though. It's amazing! Second things second. I treated it with Melafix and Pimafix and a couple of... I don't know, they didn't look like worms, they looked like larvae of some kind, anyway. They fell off the plant, so treat your plants first.

As a long time aquarium hobbyist, with decades of keeping beautiful planted tanks and healthy fish I was thrilled by the opportunity to purchase 4 ounces of Java Moss at a very reasonable price, with the added convenience of having it delivered to my doorstep. I placed an order for two items with plans on using them on my shrimp tank. Well, imagine my surprise when I receive them today and immediately realize that the weight is off. As soon as I opened the box I placed both Java Moss containers unto a scale. Two containers combined weighted only 1.2 ounces. Very short of the expected amount. Advertising this product as - Large 4 Ounce Portion Cup - is both deceptive and false advertising. Keep in mind, that 1.2 ounces is weighting the plastic wrapper, the plastic cup and the plastic lids included with the weight of the Java Moss. Just shameless. If I could rate this at zero stars, I would.

It came a little late, but was mostly still alive. I put it in a piece if wood and it seems to be doing well under the light I am using.

The as others have indicated, it arrives a little bit.Brown and has actually not improved after a week, but giving it 3 weeks.In order to let it generate new growth, we'll see what happens.I'll share a picture now and then.Another minute three weeks from now. Current picture looks much greener because of the camera than it does in real life by the eye

Arrived healthy. Central Texas spring, so no worries about temperature. I just rinsed and plopped it in the tank. The African dwarf frogs love it. There's this amorphous mossy blob tumbling around in the corner and the frogs swim through it, dig under it, rest on top of it. I could watch them for hours. The fish aren't nearly as playful but I have seen them sleeping on the moss when I walk by in the morning.

Arrived really healthy. I gave it a severe peroxide bath in case there were hitchhikers and let it soak in aquarium water with plenty of sun. Seems to be doing great in my 30 gal. Doubling back for another sample for a shrimp only tank. The second batch brought a ton of worms and water fleas but nothing harmful
