Excellent product, Strongly Recommend it
Excellent product work with all product I tried, MacBook, NV Shield, and Apple TV. EDID works very well and recognised the resolution and HDR perfectly. 4K, 1080p no problem different monitor resolution , Just Great and strongly recomend it

Perfect
I was looking for an av amp with good hdmi switching and audio pass through, however it seems that they don’t make them, even units costing £1000s. I saw this and I can now have 4 inputs, sent to 4 rooms, I have remotes in each room to change the input that is being sent to that room. Brilliant. Lounge still has my old av amp now in direct mode. Now I use my Xbox as a media centre, with Netflix and Plex. I was sceptical at first, however this 4x4 hdmi switch is perfect.

Great product
Needed this to be able to send cable tv, dvd and Roku streaming stick to the TV in the lounge and also via. Wireless system to another room. After some research I settled on this product and have not been disappointed, so far, as only had it a week. Easy to set up, and so far works well, with improved picture and sound quality.

Great matrix, but isn't a switch/splitter
I bought this to put 3 devices to 4 monitors, with one output device being across 2 of the screen. A splitter will do this but the Orei matrix can only display single screens so the only option was to duplicate the input on the screens. Works great as a matrix although it got quite hot quite quickly with only 2 of my inputs and outputs plugged in.

Great product
I have a pc monitor 1440p, tv 4k, projector 1080p. All of which are synced to the matrix now. Word the wise check the edid in manual to change the sound and resolution configurations, initially had everything on 1080p till figured it out. Overall great product, would recommend.

Works great on 2 Sky boxes for our bar.
Just plug everything in and then work out what TVs you want to show which channel - self explanatory but worked out perfect for our bar where people might want to sit in different areas and watch different sports!

OREI HDMI Matrix 4x4
Great bit of kit, great value. They say there’s a few seconds delay when you change source, so that the unit can work out the correct settings to display, so small a delay that it is unnoticeable.

This is a really nice product. It does what it says. You have to fiddle around with the EDIDs a little to get the output right, but not a big deal. Also, I highly recommend setting all the outputs to one good input to get set up. Then add additional inputs one by one to the system and configure them. Two things that prevented 5 stars: 1) Weirdly the Input buttons are on the top and Output buttons are on the bottom. But it is reversed on the display which is just confusing. Display had Output on top and Input on the bottom. Since the Output must be pressed before Input in assignment, it would be optimal if Output was on on top on both the display and the buttons. This is a minor nit. 2) Major nit. These are the loudest 30 mm fans on the planet. Like why? You can get decent fans that are quiet for like $10. On a $700 dollar device you are going to cheap out on fans and I have to watch video and LISTEN to audio in a wind tunnel. I replaced the fans but not everyone can do that. This is where the star was lost. Source a quieter fan. Come on! For those who want to replace they are 30mm by 30mm 5V fans. The case can be opened with a tiny phillips head screwdriver with 4 screws on the upper sides and 2 screws on top.

This HDMI matrix switch is a great solution if you need to route multiple HDMI sources to several displays. With four inputs and four outputs, it allows you to send any connected source to any display, which makes it very flexible for different setups. The switch supports 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, and the picture quality remained clear and stable during use. The downscaling feature is also useful because it allows 4K and 1080p displays to be used together without compatibility issues. The included remote control makes switching sources quick and convenient. Once everything is connected, it works reliably and makes managing multiple HDMI devices much easier. Overall, this is a solid HDMI matrix if you need a flexible way to route multiple video sources to several displays.

Manages Cable box, Firestick, Chromecast and PC input and 2 Tv's, 1 AVR and a Projector Output. Downscales to 1080P for the projector and passes Atmos sound. I am using Harmony Hub to control so quality of the remote is not that important and the fact it is already in Harmony's database is a plus. So why not a perfect score? I have a Toslink digital audio switcher feeding my AVR and a remote code for that device conflicts with one of the codes on the UHD-404. That causes my picture to briefly blackout every time I switch audio sources. My workaround is running an IR blaster from my Harmony to this device and covering the IR window so the codes don't inadvertently change. Why manufacturers use the same codes seems stupid/crazy to me but my LG and Vizio TV's use the same power code, so I need another IR Blaster to solve that issue as well. ***I have upgraded the device to a 5 stars. Has performed flawlessly and the remote code is a non factor once set-up****** In any case, device switches in a second or 2 and downscales perfectly. All in all, very happy that it does what I need it do do. I will be looking forward to an affordable 8k version of this that still can downscale to 1080P WITH unique IR codes.

Has a slight learning curve but once you've learnt it, it is an absolute pleasure to use. And since it doesn't support Macbooks, I've installed Amazon FireStick in one of the ports, & subscribed to AirScreen app (only ₹800+ per annum). AirScreen works like a charm with Macbooks as well as Android. Don't rely on AirScreen for Windows, use HDMI instead for that.
