I absolutely love my mug, and so does my roommate (in fact she keeps stealing it from me so I might have to buy her one for Christmas). It's super solid and leak proof. I throw the mug on the passenger seat of my car, and my roommate throws it in her bag with no fear of leakage.Here are the pros:- Vacuum insulated double wall body really does keep your coffee hot for hours. Because it's all metal I was expecting to burn my lips on the stainless steel, but they somehow designed it so that part doesn't get too hot.- Store extra grounds in the bottom for an afternoon pick-me-up. I usually make my coffee in the morning and then store extra grounds in the bottom for my afternoon coffee at work. Since I have access to hot water I don't need anything else to make a fresh cup.- Completely leak proof. I haven't seen a drop come out of this thing when it's sealed up. It gives me confidence to lay it on it's side in my car or store it in a backpack.Here are the cons:- The capacity is 13.5 ounces which is just a little less coffee than I would usually buy at the coffee shop. It's not too bad though, I just bring extra grounds and make another cup if I want one :) So far it hasn't been too much of a hassle.- I'll update this if I come up with any more cons.

UPDATE 12-09-16: A few suggestions if you like a stronger cup of coffee. First of all, do NOT overfill with filter past the marked line. It will take you 15 minutes to dribble water through the excess grounds. I have settled for brewing a smaller, but stronger cup. I use an 11-oz. gooseneck kettle which is the perfect ratio of water-to-coffee to get a decent, stronger cup. The cup's capacity is 13.5 oz, but that is just too weak for me. The idea is excellent. I love to carry as little to the break room as possible when making a cup of coffee to my liking. I don't want to spend a lot of time on messy clean-up, like a French press or a larger cone pour-over. I love the idea of grinding and measuring my coffee at home and storing it in one unit that I take to the office break room for brewing. It's nice to have a lid that screws on as I'm walking back to my office to avoid spills.The filter empties easily with little to rinse out - a real plus. It's as easy to clean as the Aeropress, but with the Aeropress I had to take a bagful of parts to the break room to brew a cup of coffee! The double walled cup keeps coffee fairly warm: if you are drinking a 12-oz mug you won't notice a problem. I like to pour my coffee into a smaller ceramic cup and get two small cups. The coffee is warm, but I would prefer it be a little warmer.I'm not super-confident that the seal on the bottom will hold the dry coffee. I put the unit in a plastic bag just to be sure. I understand being efficient with space, but it would be nice if the dry coffee wasn't pointing "down".My one complaint: no way to drink coffee unless you remove the lid. You can't use it while driving. Some kind of flip top assembly would make the unit almost perfect.One other thing: I have my burr grinder set perfectly for my double mesh pour over unit at home. This filter has larger holes, so I get a little sludge. I'm not going to mess with my grind settings for the few tablespoons of coffee I need. I'm trying to save time getting out of the house in the morning!All told, I've tried a gazillion methods of coffee brewing in the office, and this is the most convenient yet.

Ok I really wanted to love this. Coffee was weak and filter is hard to clean. Not overly impressed

My husband likes that he doesn't have to take his full coffee kit with him when we travel. I think of a travel mug as one that you can take with you in the car and sip along the way to work. This one does not fit in any of our cup holders in the car. Without a sip slot, you would have to take the lid off each time. Not practical when you are driving. What if you hit a bump or had to swerve? The mug does a good job of keeping the coffee hot, like a thermos. The mug is only useful if you are sitting at a kitchen table, someplace stationary. The idea is good, but the company missed the mark on practicality.

To many things to do to have a cup of coffee. I am 73 and it is hard to get the lid off of the bottom at times. I am set in my ways I guess.Product is made very well and got it on time.

The best thing about this product is that I can go to Whole Foods and just get a little bit of each bean, and then try out new ones every day!For the product itself, it feels really solid, and the stainless steel looks great. Because the filter is really durable, I don't need to use paper filters (we all know how annoying that is)In terms of features: the double insulation keeps my coffee warm for hours, and I was really happy with the extra compartment to take beans in.Definitely a buy!

Great product! Easy to use! It stays amazingly hot! Especially if you keep the lid on. I had a hot cup of tea for 4 hours and 45 minutes! There ar two things I don’t care for though. When the coffee filter is attached to the bottom of the cup it does not fit into a regular size cup holder. And the lid does not have an opening to drink from so you have to take the lid off to drink from the cup. I don’t mind but for my husband who is a little spastic when drinking this could be an issue. The company on the other hand goes above and beyond for the customer! They were not able to send me a discount coupon so they arranged a day where the product was 15% for me as I was a return customer! Thank you!
