Lechuza Balconera Bracket Planter, White

We have 8 of the Lechuza planters hanging on our wrought iron fence. We had 7 and I ordered one more to even things out. It did not come with the brackets. We really needed black, but only white was available. The brackets aren’t really noticeable, so it wasn’t an issue. Love these planters. I’ve even spray painted them before to refresh the sun and water wear on them.

I can't believe I spent $40 for these brackets. I really should have waited a few days because the planter became available with the black brackets within a week or so, at a much better combined price. That said, I love the planter, and the herbs that are flourishing in it. They are the best damn bracket design I've ever seen, and I returned two different systems before biting the bullet and spending the big bucks. I should have given in from the start, the Lechuza products are gorgeous. I have the beautiful brown resin window box -Balconera- hanging on the wrought iron railing outside my front door. Elegant,convenient, and very stable and securely attached!

Only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because I didn't realize that these brackets didn't come with the planter itself, which is already a bit on the pricey side. So I'm a little miffed that the pictures in the description of the planter make it seem like these are included, but maybe I just need to do better research. Still though, incredibly secure and beautiful. These brackets made it possible for me to mount the Lechuza planter on my balcony railing, which as you can see in the picture below is a thick metal railing at the top with really thin wire cables going across. I couldn't find any other planter that would work with this set up, plus it perfectly matches my other balcony furniture. Again, the planter itself is great, but for mine to work I needed these brackets

Bought the balconera window boxes (lovely) and used these guys to attach the boxes to the front porch rail. Expensive? Oh yeah, but I intend to use them for years (I will be storing the boxes over the winter). They were very easy to attach. These things slide apart in 2 pieces; half gets bolted to the window box (just screw it in, totally easy, just need a screwdriver),for the other half you flip a lever, pull the strap out, wrap it around the rail, tighten and flip lever - done. Slip box on and fill it. I had all 4 window boxes up in about 15 minutes. Comes with great directions but once you've looked at them you don't have to do it again, so easy.

I first purchased this planter for my balcony in March 2020. I felt a little mislead as someone had stated it comes with the hardware for mounting to my balcony railing but, that was incorrect. After the hardware arrived I mounted (with ease) and watched as my plants no longer died! I have since ordered another 80cm planter and mounted next to the first. I am considering ordering other products from Lechuza as I think they are high quality and have done wonders for my gardening abilities. The price is a bit high compared to other products (that I admittedly have not tried) but I think it is worth it.

If you want to hang your Lechuza hanging baskets you must buy these additional brackets. The baskets are not cheap to begin with, which is ok because they are the prize, but the brackets are ridiculously priced. These costs almost the same price as the smaller basket, which is just wrong. on top of that the strap that goes around your balcony is very short. My balcony is a funny design and to get the basket to hang where I wanted the strap wasn't long enough. I had to improvise and buy an additional strap I found on Amazon and glue it together to make it long enough. I think for the high cost they could make the strap a little longer!

The wire planters at stores do not fit my rail. These do the job and are versatile and sturdy. I appreciate the design allows me to easily remove the planter box without disturbing the brackets. Since the basket rests on the horizontal arm and the upturned ends fit into predetermined slots on the bottom of the basket, the width between brackets is set at 19.5 inches measured inside to inside, My railing is not spaced as such making the Balconera space bar accessory a necessity. At the date of this review they are 13.95 dollars.

Great design/install. Sturdy and prop the 80cm boxes up well. I wish the brackets came in the same shade of white as the white stone balconnerra box, though. It’s a noticeable difference.

Complemento per i vasi Lechuza, ottimo prodotto per appendere i vasi sia alle ringhiere (con le cinghie) che al muro (eliminando le cinghie e fissandolo con tasselli, non inclusi). Soddisfatto
