Nice hanger, but there are issues with the hardware!!!
The sword hanger itself is very nice, but the anchor and screw is the problem!!! I placed the anchor in first and then tried to tap the screw, which is placed in the sword hanger, into the anchor that is already in the wall and the screw drove the anchor further into the I think she thought that telling me what happened to you was punishment for mistreating her would manipulate me into doing what she wants out of fear that something bad would happen to me. Instead, it backfired because I know God, His Word and how He operates. That was her first attempt at manipulation. It was really to frighten me like how she has her daughter frightened into doing what she wants. It wasn't suppose to end up like this. She thought she had it on lock!!!!!!wall. Needless to say, the knife is being held right now with just the screw and it is not stable. It will work for now since the knife is small and until I can go look for a proper anchor and screw to stabilize the sword hanger. Now I have to go to a hardware store to correct a problem that I didn't create. Oh, by the way, I need to have the original hole filled since it is larger than the screw. Such an inconvenience!!!!

Holding a L.A Gen2 hand and a half with scabbard on the blade with no issues.
So I own a few swords...and ima tell you right now, any regular hilted sword will fit in it. The little arms are flexible outwards from the wall some so I would guess anything an inch or so in thickness or less would would fit well. Think of a gumbi mom reaching out to pick up a gumbi baby. The hooks at the end are forced to the edges of the sword by the weight of the sword so it won't just fall out. I wouldn't try to hang anything super heavy from these...like say the Conan sword...or something very heavy. But for the price...imo...you can't go wrong with these. I actually have one holding a Legacy Arms Bastard Sword and the scabbard, which is held up by the weight against the wall hanging on one. If you got anything up to say 4 or 5 lbs that doesn't have a basket hilt or like the CS Grosse Messer I'd say try it. They don't cost alot and for me they work purdy darn good.

Not as bad as people say
I bought two of these hangers to mount my replica gladius and training gladius used in "Spartacus" that I won from a Starz raffle>Yes, they are cheaply madeYes, they do bend easilyYes, they get the job done (see pics)The fact that they bend I actually USED to my advantage. The hand guard on the training gladius was too thick and pushed it too far from the wall for the hanger to be effective. I bent the prongs forward and now it works great. If you re looking for an inexpensive way to hang your swords, I would recommend these.

Easy to Install . Over all great product
Over all great product! Easy to install and adjustable to fit any sword size. Easy bendable and workekable metal to ‘custom fit’ and lock the sword into place! We used it to secure swords onto a wall.We purchased these to hang 4 swords. Two larger ones, and two smaller ones. Both sets are hung on the wall one laying over the other. The mount itself will holds one sword. We did have to attach the mount with additional nails for support as the swords are at an angle. We also purchased separate hooks to hold the tip of the swords down to the wall. I have included a picures! To show how we used them! Over all they worked great for us with a few minor hacks!

easy to use
not super duty sturdy, but they hold presentation grade swords well. mounting hole is a little small so you might want to dremel it out. discard the screw and plastic wall insert that comes with it and opt for a quality sheet rock screw mount. I've mounted 2 swords on the wall with these. straight forward and easy to use.

Cheap but get the job done most of the time.
These sword hangers are made really cheap. At 1st I didn't know how to hang my butterfly war blades replicas from fate/stay night's archer servant on these cheap hangers. Was expecting at least to feel stronger but being cheap ain't always bad. They actually get the job done. Plus the war blades ain't sharp. I soon figured out how to hang to the wall. Remember i said being cheap ain't always bad. The wall hangers can actually be bent. That's how i was able to get a secure hold on my blades. Look at the pics. Happy with the purchase now. Can barely even see the wall hanger.

The hanger itself is ok
The hanger works ok. The thing I like is the minimal view of the hanger once it is installed. You really only see very little of it so the sword is what you notice. The drywall mounting screw set are horrible. I would not recommend using the included one at all. I used a drywall mount I already had after the included one just left a large hole in the wall.

Adjust your expectations.
This works adequately if you are hanging a medieval type sword or a sword with a hilt and under 2 inches of blade. I bought this to hang a replica frostmourne from WoW. It didn't work for that. It would work well for most real (practical) swords. Overall it isn't the sturdiest mount either, but it's made of steel so it should hold even heavier swords.

Does what it’s supposed to.
It’s hard to screw up a hanger and this one does not disappoint. It’s affordable and works. I gave it only 3 stars because of the vague cancer warning on the packaging.

Its a good enough product as it does the job well
Its a good enough product as it does the job well. However for the price these are they are not worth it. Would expect it to be a 3rd of the price. However there isnt much else in that price range so thats why they are so expensive.

This would be OK if your sword does not have ...
This would be OK if your sword does not have a guard/pommel. I am hanging a roman gladius and the horizontal arms on the hanger don't reach the blade around the pommel. I intend to bend the vertical part of the arms around the pommel to get around this home fully this won't end weekening the metal
