The OUPV/Six-Pack Captain's License Course - Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV/Charter Boat Captain) is the most popular of the Captain's Licenses and is required for those who wish to operate fishing and sailing charters, run a dive boat, or offer sightseeing tours, etc. This 25/50/100 Ton Master upgrade course is for those who wish to upgrade their existing OUPV License (Six-pack) to a 25-ton, 50-ton, or 100-ton Master Captain's License . The Master's License is required to operate an inspected vessel that carries seven or more paying passengers. In order to carry seven or more passengers "under sail," a Sailing Endorsement is also required. The Towing Endorsement course allows the OUPV and Licensed Master up to 200-Tons to acquire a "Towing Endorsement" that permits them to engage in commercial assistance towing services for hire. The Auxiliary Sailing Endorsement is required if you want to operate an Inspected Sailing Vessel.
